Im referring to the 60cm long/3000 piece ferrari/bugatti/lambo models 42143 42115 42056 42083, like $700 for the real deal…there are a bunch of these listed for $50-60 atm…has anyone taken the punt and bought before?

yep…but many are under Choice banner…some no feedback/others with missing pieces etc
often have 20-40 day delivery frame too…hmmmmm
Bought from a dodgy store for cheap. The description had the right number of pieces. It built fine using the official instructions. The pieces were arranged in bags which matched the box number. Had one missing piece which I cbf chasing the seller for. It was a common piece which I took from another set I had. Could have 3d printed the piece too. Worth the 80% saving knowing that it has no resale value. It was a fun build.
It was the lambo and I paid AUD$70 shipped incl GST.
The ferrari in the first link is cheap.
I wouldn't buy any of the sets in the second link as the number of pieces isn't mentioned.

More like they'll send you knock off Lego. But if you're ok with that, then go for it.
Be wary of the non-Choice stores or ones without feedback. Obviously everyone knows they're not real Lego and I'd expect you'd be getting the less piece version.
