Nah you already pre pay the gst via bhphotovideo

      https://www.abf.gov.au/buying-online/buying-online

For goods with a value of AUD1000 or less, there are generally no duties, taxes or charges to pay at the border.
However, From 1 July 2018, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) may be collected by overseas vendors of such low value goods when imported from overseas by consumers in Australia. GST will be charged at the point of sale and not at the border.

The value is under $1000 so the store collects 10% gst and you don’t need to pay anything more at the border

B&H uses FedEx or DHL for shipping and tax and duty is calculated at the point of sale. 10% GST is already included by their customs calculator in this price (since B&H is a high volume exporter). The item value excluding GST and freight is under $1,000, so there's no extra duty to be paid in this instance.

Edit: I didn't see Kazusa's comment before I posted, but their assessment is accurate. :)

At this price point better off getting an enterprise U2 drive of ebay or Ali of the same capacity for cheaper and far longer endurance too!

Obviously no point buying at this price when compared to just getting 2x 4TB (assuming you have enough NVMe slots to spare), but I always get excited seeing the price for a product previously assumed unfathomable slowly creep down

Reminds me of when 128GB SSDs creeped down to under $150 while 1TB was like $1000

See you in 5 years, 16TB SSDs
