My wife is struggling to find fulltime work at the moment. She is thinking to work in Child care.
Can anyone recommend a Tafe course to get qualified? We are in SE Melbourne area.
Are the courses free? Any other advice.

Thank you!
I have no experience but it’s a worthwhile pathway and lots of work available. I’d go with tafe rather than a private college. Wages are low, but many offer discounts if you have children of that age attending and you’re always better off earning money and learning than relying on benefits, if you can. If English is a second language, work as hard as possible on this too, it will make a huge difference to employability and overall life in Australia.
Forget about childcare.
NDIS. People grow into it but never out of it.
NDIS course recommendation please?
Cert 3 in creative accounting is all you need.
I am currently doing my Certificate 3 in Childcare with tafe online using fee free tafe. In my area there are a lot of jobs available and they are willing to hire people that are still studying so she could work and study at the same time. Some centres also offer traineeships so she could look into them as well.
Looking at this site https://www.vic.gov.au/free-tafe they offer the Cert 3 and the Diploma so it would depend on which she is willing to do and if she is eligible.
