Different feel - the rebel works better for speed works, 1080v14 is good for your everything and anything.

If you are after NB, 1080 any V…latest 14, even 13 would be good. You probably don't even need 1080.
1080v13 are very good - very soft. 1080v14 are supposedly a little less soft. This is coming from Adidas boost which is good, but the fore foot area has less foam. NB more v5 are supposedly the softest but I couldn't find them to test.
I bought them in Japan last month (1080v13), walking 16000-25000 steps a day. Swapped from the boost to the 1080. Definitely a lot more softer and less sore feet.
FuelCell Rebel V4 - was a bit hard when I tried them.
Yeah nb 1080 is their softest shoe. I believe older versions (12,13 are softer than the 14) but that means the 14 is more suited for a multitude of uses (gentle running, a bit faster pace, walking, standing).
Their 880 is ok, but id try and get the 1080 tbh.
You can try adidas xplr boost (explorer boost). Theyre VERY squishy. And its only for walking.
Skechers are light weight and generally ok for walking. They bottom out quite quickly in my use though.
There's also the asics nimbus, which are generally soft and a safe choice.
Puma Velocity Nitro 3, fits snug but I saw them for around $10 on the app/outlet site. Decent daily trainer but you can use as walking shoes I guess. And if you need to go for a quick getaway you can too.
Or if you like NB, I can highly recommend Arishi V4. It's an entry level daily trainer but I got mine a year ago on sale from Amazon NB store for like $70. There are dark grey colourways. Fresh foam, pretty squishy under feet.

I've had a pair of these for a few months now and find them true to size, i'm size 9 and 9 fits with heaps of space, toe box is pretty roomy.
