It's a subjective question and the resolution will matter too. I personally find 27" monitors to be far too small for productivity or gaming, even at 1440p, with 32" or 34" being minimum size for me. Others here think 27 is the sweet spot.
What are you using it for? I find it's the sweet spot for gaming, but for work 32"+ is nice for extra screen space.
Yeah, it's fine. I use dual 27" QHD monitors at my desk without any issues. I wouldn't recommend a FHD 27" monitor.
I would probably consider a move to 32" for 4K, though, I have a 27" 4K monitor on a Windows PC and think that is also fine.

How does age relate to this one? How's your eyesight? Mac/Windows? RGB?
You may need to move up to a 32" monitor in 5 years
I agree. For 4k, get 32". I have one and it's awesomesauce.
I am using 3 x 27" and its great. Sometimes I do find text a bit small if I am working on a Google Doc and/or Sheet, but just zoom in a bit and it is fine.
I do wear glasses and 30 years old.
I upgraded from 3 x 24" screens and the upgrade was so worth it.
I have 2*27", 1440p 155Hz & 1080p 165Hz and it is fine. effectively 49" diagonal.
In my last desk job everyone had two 21-inch displays; as a new starter I requested a single 27-inch UHD (pricey back in the day). My employer relocated to a new fitout (2022) and assigned everyone a single 32-inch UHD having found 40-inch stupidy large for a normal desk. At current pricing either 27 or 32-inch is a sound choice whether you're MacOS or Windows. One of my desktops is a 27-inch 5K iMac which I run at 2560 x 1440 to get a readable font size.

I think the type of work matters moreso than your age/sex.
It'll be fine for now but in a year you'll need to upgrade to a 28 inch
27" monitor and 27 year old male. couldn't be a better match, though it might start getting expensive after a few more birthdays
Just budget for an upgrade to 32" in 5 years.
Used a 24" LCD for many years of CAD without drama. A second smaller monitor for email, internet etc was handy.
.
Id be terribly embarrassed if it was that age and didnt have a uw34" OLED
It'll be fine at 1440p. If you mean 4k, then yeh, maybe unless you have 20/20 vision.
