  • Where's the bargain ???

    Doesn’t blow we away

This is probably a better deal.

It probably depends if you need a line trimmer. OP’s deal is for a brushless model with a higher CFM (600 vs 550).

I think this deal shines when comparing to the outgoing model.

      Old Model:
      $339
      525CFM
      Brushed Motor
Single Speed Trigger + Turbo Mode

      New Model:
      $299
      600CFM
      Brushless Motor
Variable Speed Trigger + Turbo Mode

It gets my vote. But it does appear to be a new lower price, rather than a limited time special.

Don't see how anyone thinks this isnt a deal.

The 4AH batteries on their own are $249.

The Ryobi 525 cfm blower kit (with 4AH battery) is $339and isn't brushless.

This is a 18% underpowered version of the 730cfm blower, for $50 less than the tool only price, with a battery.

If i hadn't just bought the 550cfm brushless ($249) a few weeks before this dealer got released, I'd be all over it. I'm still tempted actually…

So you recommend buying this at 299 or wait for another deal?

      • Don't think there is anymore 36v Ryobi deals - the coms seem to say that 18v deals were coming next as part of Black Friday

Get the 730cfm blower, it's an absolute beast. Dries the cars.

    • Since i need a trimmer and a blower, is the deal above: https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-36v-33-38cm-line-trimmer-b… worth it?

No stock anywhere near me in Melb.

I really need a blower/vacuum. The vacuum part seems to be trickey to find something decent. Any recommendations ozb? Don't mind spending if it's decent

    • I second this, we have so many leaves that blowing them away is a very temporary solution. Searching for a Ryobi blower/vacuum that's well rated.

Ryobi and Bunnings always release these Ryobi products specifically for the shopping "holidays". Expect to see the stock in the next week(s). Sometimes can be in store before being updated on the websites.

  • Will there be combo/ package deals for black Friday? Looking to get a lawn mower, line trimmer and blower

Is there a site that tracks price drops on bunnings? or Ryobi?

  • This deal blows

  • Has anyone used the blower / vac version of these to chase spiders? This caught my eye last night but I have a huntsman issue in the house and was wondering if a high volume vac has enough power to catch them? I only need the suction for spiders and will get this if the vac isn’t strong enough.

    • A Dyson V10 works to suck them up.

Concur that this may not technically be a deal or discount but this is for many people likely the best value blower in the Ryobi range, especially if you're just starting to enter the 36v range and don't have the charger yet. Have picked one up, will see how much it blows…

How does it work! Currently looking for a blower as well
