James Cameron also claims Avatar needs 2 more sequels. I no longer trust what James Cameron says.
the anime is really good, i watched it long before they announced the movie.. if you like the movie the anime is better in my opinion ^^D
This movie got me into the manga, which is really great, and still going
Oh the anime is awesome isn't it? Such crisp clean animation, no filler scenes, terrifying villains, and so so violent. That gruesome scene with Grewcica and the dog is burned into my 10 year old brain.
Apparently 2 more movies to come.
It bombed at the box office.

Love the movie, overall the story and script is a bit out there (most JC scripted
/advised works have their moment where the characters have odd lines) but its a very cool concept. I liked how the cgi was done.With my level of interest in the movie, I started off with the bluray, imported the 4K version……. and even purchased the dvd later on (was curious how the cgi looked with a lower bitrate) lol. I know its been on ch 7 / 7mate a few times over the years as well.
Its worth checking out, just don't expect quality dialog between the characters (especially Hugo lol).
