I am thinking to buy Pixel 8 Pro 256GB from Amazon, but the model is from Amazon UK (GA04915-GB).

Phones usually have 2 year warranty when purchased locally. Overseas tend to be 1 year only
The Google warranty is only valid in the country where you purchased your phone. If you purchase your phone in a different country and then move to a country where the warranty is not valid, you will not be able to get warranty service or support.
So would need to try warranty options from the retailer
Amazon is the one obliged to provide warranty to the customer.
At $1003 - does Amazon collect the GST already? I got the feeling that it hasnt and need to be pay to custom along with duty and import fees.

You need to look at the 4g and 5g bands the import phone has and compare with the bands we use in Australia. You can Google both.

Best I've found if that Google could say no warranty here, but I would hope Amazon would be more helpful.
