What Is an Everyday Market Customer?

I've noticed a 25% cashback on woolworths groceries for everyday market customers. But I'm struggling to find a place to sign up to everyday market.
My assumption is that there is no separate login and that woolworths rewards members can buy on everyday market. And when I put an everday market item in my cart it just puts it in a checkout along with grocery products. So what do they mean by cashback for everyday market customers?

    Maybe this might help.

Thanks but it doesn't help. that was regarding cashback for everyday market purchases, not cashback for grocery purchases for everday market customers

It's an online grocery cashback with a special rate for 'everday market customers'. Yet there's no registration for everday market - I can buy on everday market with a standard woolworths account so what defines an 'everyday market customer'?

I hereby nominate you as an everyday market customer.

      • thanks!

Woolies has a marketplace section called Everyday Market that third party vendors can sell products. It's part of Woolies so your normal login works.

Products will show a banner "Sold by xx" with Everyday Marketplace underneath and when searching for products you can filter by Everyday Market.

I know that but what I don't know is what defines someone as an 'everyday market customer'

Someone who buys from Everyday Marketplace. You're not going to get the cashback if you buy your bread and milk from the normal Woolworths listings. It's pretty easy to separate the two.

incorrect - "Cashback is available on groceries purchased from Woolworths Online Grocery"

          • @brownbag: I'm talking about the Everyday Market cashback increases that often exclude groceries.

It's really quite simple. Buy the Woolworths groceries and you get the Woolworths Online Grocery rate. Buy from the Everyday Market section and you get that rate.

Everyone who has an account on woolworths.com.au is an Everyday Market customer.

Is there anything else not clear?

@Clear: You're clear but cashrewards are not. Reading the terms literally you get access to 25% woolworths online customer just by being an 'everday market customer'. But I'm suspicious - I think that they've just been very clumsy in how they have spelt it out and don't really mean that.

@brownbag: I think clear has made things clear but please report back if things work the way you think they will - may even be worth of a deal post.

@brownbag: I mean I just went and had a look myself and I'd argue you're the one being clumsy by failing to understand quite simple wording on the website, but each to their own. It spells it out quite clearly that theres different cashback rates for everyday market customers and online grocery customers.

For clarity, an everyday market customer is someone purchasing from the everyday market, an online grocery customer is someone purchasing groceries online.

  • Watch out with Everyday Market Pricing - always with comparing to the site directly.

There are some cases such as MyDeal, another Woolworths group company, charges significantly more than directly. There are other cases where it can be beneficial for to postage costs.

    • true but if I need to make one purchase to become an 'everday market customer' and get access to extra woolworths online cashbacks, it's worth it.

      • Depends on the purchase. There are cases where a purchase from mydeal would still be cheaper even with a ~30% cashback.

No, but being an everday market customer (even buying one item) apparently gives you access to 25% woolworths online customer (according to the terms). But I'm suspicious.
