Looking for Bulk Goodies to Repack into Christmas Presents

I like buying bulk and packing into my own bags/packaging. This saves me money and lets me gift to more people because it's easier to mass assemble these gift boxes. It takes the stress out of thinking of what to get someone.

What I'm asking is for ideas on more unusual, interesting or tasty items to include this year.

Some of the items will be same as last year such as Christmas M & Ms, some Asian snacks, and the 'big' item in each box was chocolate coated coffee beans.

I got those from Byron Bay Coffee (not sponsored) but I love their bulk pricing. I think I stacked 3 discounts last year lol. They are good. They also did choc macadamia buts but they are discontinued and chocolate was average. I would like to source better chocolate macadamia nuts though.

Thoughts? Ideas? What have you bought in bulk or repacked for presents in the past?

Edit: So far I'm looking at Duck Creek Macadamias, Royal Nut Company ($136.50 for 5kg) and Choco Nuts (only bulk sales).

I'm looking into chocolate coated blueberries and fruits.

Go to Costco and buy toilet paper. Everyone wants/needs toilet paper, especially over Christmas

Exactly. All that greasy food and custard and cream and sugar. The next few days you will be using more toilet paper.

Pork rinds. Pascals Pork Scratchings have bulk. I started buying some as gifts for a family member who also has a gastro band. Loved them

    • I get their ads often. Decided to finally look into them and see they aren't the same as regular pork crackling, which is pretty hit and miss. Grabbed some to try out :)

Last year I packed these $1 phone holders into our Xmas crackers

    • Oh yeah that's a neat idea. I've seen those stands before. I'll have a look through ikea to see what other useful little items that could be suitable.

    My FIL has bee hives.

‘Home spun honey’ packed in Kmart jars make excellent gifts (that cost me next to nothing)

  • @OP … soo soo many ppl these days have "nut allergies" - surprised that your 3 main options you are considering include nuts.

    • Well i'm not gifting these to random people. They are for people I know.

You might consider Charlesworth Nuts. These are the best nuts ever! The nuts are always fresh & top quality and they taste amazing. I believe they have a wholesale option. They also have chocolates and fruits options https://www.charlesworthnuts.com.au/

Thanks i'll check it out. Got some honey sesame cashews coming from nuts about life.

Have you tried chalesworth chocolate products? How were they? I like their variety of different clusters.

      • Yes, I tasted some at their shop in Adelaide while I was on holiday with the family, and since then I order it online and always delivered on time to my place in Melbourne, so tasty and delicious. Rocky Road Clusters my favourites!

  • Brownie/Cake mix box from Woolies when on special $3-$4 (or you could use the limited edition Greens Christmas Shortbread or Gingerbread box $6), Christmas themed spatula from Kmart $2 each, Christmas themed oven mitt from Big W $3 and Christmas themed tea towel from Big W $1.50. This makes a great work colleague gift for under $10 too (can also wrap it all nicely in the tea towel).
