Zip Pay is a buy now, pay later (BNPL) service, and as of now, it does not directly integrate with Apple Wallet in the same way a credit card or debit card would. This means that Zip Pay can't be used for direct payments through Apple Wallet for your everyday purchases like you would with a credit or debit card. However, there are a few points to consider when it comes to using Zip Pay and managing your payments:

Zip Pay Integration with Apple Pay: Zip Pay does offer a digital wallet integration, but it is typically limited to purchases at retailers who accept Zip Pay as a payment option (either via the Zip app or online). It's not broadly accepted in the same way that a regular credit card is through Apple Pay.

Avoiding Fees: Zip Pay offers a flexible repayment option, and if you pay your balance in full before the due date, you can avoid any interest or fees. However, if you choose to make only the minimum payments or carry a balance beyond the interest-free period, fees will apply. If you aim to pay off your balance at the end of each month, this would be a good strategy to avoid those fees, similar to how you would use a credit card responsibly.

Credit Card Reward Points: Since Zip Pay isn't a credit card, you won’t earn credit card reward points when using it. BNPL services like Zip Pay don't usually offer reward points or benefits associated with credit cards (like cashback or travel points). If earning points is important to you, you would need to use a traditional credit card.

    Summary:
Can you use Zip Pay with Apple Wallet?: Not for most regular purchases, as Zip Pay doesn’t have full Apple Pay integration.
Avoiding Fees: Yes, you can avoid fees if you pay off your Zip Pay balance in full by the due date.
Credit Card Points: No, Zip Pay doesn’t offer reward points because it’s not a credit card.
If your goal is to earn rewards and manage daily expenses, you might want to consider using a rewards credit card with Apple Pay, as you’d get the best of both worlds: convenience and rewards for your spending.

Even if you could I wouldn’t advise it. If you want a loan in the future for car house ect. They will knock you back due to not being able to afford weekly groceries. They look more closely at all your expenses.

    • Everyone in the country uses Afterpay and Zip. No one is getting turned down for a home loan over this.

    • Thanks but that’s not the case with Zip as they don’t do a credit check on you.

  • and then get credit card reward points?

Why wouldn't you just use your Credit Card in the first place?

Or did you mean Zip Rewards?

No Zip Pay, so that I can spend more and get an increase one day.

      • Max limit only $1500 now, lower than most credit cards.

        • Yeah it’s ridiculous isn’t it. Mine is still $1000

Yes you can. If you change your credit card statement date you can extend your interest free time
