    What do you reckon the markup is on these meds in general, from the supplier? 11,000% ? 120,000% ? It's got to be up there as the most overprriced racket.

      The RRP(Recommended Retail Price) comes from the manufacturer "Boehringer Ingelheim".

      Probably yes. Just usually the normal wholesale prices from all the distributors are higher than lowest retail prices from some retailers. For the brands we're selling for flea, worm and tick control, at least we got 1-2 chances to order them in and then sell them at the lowest prices but I haven't seen any deal for Simparica Trio. The flea, worm and tick control range is not profitable, just to be used to get more traffic if possible.

    It’s on the low end of pricing but no bargain here.

      As a small business, we can only get 1-2 chances to get them at a low enough price from our suppliers, which makes our retail prices lowest but not lower much than others. We try to make everything about pets cheaper than other retail stores and we made it for most of them. However, the range of flea, worm and tick control is so popular as well as competitive that many big stores promote them by loosing money, which is not affordable for small business.

      It's good to know other options with similar prices. We're planning to provide a link to google shop or 99 pet shops for every item we're selling so customers can view the different prices from other major online stores and make the final decision.
