Delivery has been reasonable (7 days or so).
The Arrow web page is somewhat annoying to use in that:
1) It logs you out after a short period of time (not sure, but maybe 15 to 20 mins) even though you are still searching or using it. So register, login and add items to the cart. If it logs you out log in again and you cart should retain items.
2) Click the 'auto-filter' and select part status 'In Stock', then select from different 'manufacturer names' or 'PCN Status'.
3) Avoid using the grouped categories as these reset other settings (mileage may vary)
4) Sometimes errors occur even trying to get to the website - I found clearing the browser cache for the last hour fixed that..
I'm sure some of the components are as a result of pricing errors. eg at one end of the scale,
https://www.arrow.com/en/products/awcca-28r15h08-c01-b/abrac… - Wireless charging coil receiver for AU$37,225 EACH!!!
(ie $0.06 for some eval boards that used to cost $15.00)
Some examples of discounts.. depends on the kinds of components/etc you are after.
Samung Artik SOM Dev board (1GB RAM, 4GB eMMC, ) kind of like Raspberry pi:
at Arrow - $27.75 https://www.arrow.com/en/products/sip-kitnxe002/samsung-arti…
at Element14AU - is $322.95 https://au.element14.com/samsung-artik/sip-kitnxe002/dev-boa…
(not that I'd buy it from element14 anyway)
CUI, 240VAC to 12VDC 26.7A 320W power supply, P/N VGS-320D-12 (legacy product)
@Arrow is AUD$15.86
@Digikey is AUD$88
Too many items to list.. you'll have to go gold digging yourself! Use https://octopart.com/ with the part number(s) to compare the prices to other suppliers..
Samsung Artik is a bit old, but there is definitely some gold in amongst it all.
I'll be ordering a heap of stuff. Thanks OP.
