This just came up as a banner ad on my Amazon app.

Enjoy a $0 delivery fee on eligible DoorDash orders and other DashPass benefits with a FREE 2 year DashPass membership for new and current Prime members in Australia.

Subscribed and linked to my DoorDash with out issues.

Edit: For those getting stuck in a “loop” make sure you have a valid card added to your DoorDash account and remove Afterpay if attached.

For people who used the Amazon CA free DoorDash promo previously it seems to be only adding 9 months. Create a new DoorDash account for the full 2 years.


How long does the FREE DashPass membership last? As long as your Prime membership is active and you have redeemed the Offer, you can get 2 years of FREE DashPass. If your Prime membership ends or is cancelled during the 2 year DashPass membership period, your DashPass membership will cancel automatically and you will lose your FREE access to DashPass. Should you reactivate your Prime membership within 2 years of first activating your FREE DashPass Offer, you will be able to enjoy the remainder of your FREE DashPass membership period, provided that you remain a Prime member. You can re-activate the Offer via the Offer page here at Amazon.com.au.

    Canada promotion was posted on 27/08/2023, my DashPass ends on 27/08/2025. Yeah looks like people who signed up for that are getting screwed over.

    I am getting the Prime > Doordash loop when trying to redeem on my usual account, when I tried using a different Doordash account I got an error saying the offer has already been redeemed. Anyone else getting this?

      Try adding a new debit card or credit card and selecting it before try it again from the Amazon banner

    Your DashPass is free until 11/14/26 - My prime expires tomorrow so this was quite fortunate for me.

    • It cancels if your Prime does.

      T&C: "If your Prime membership ends or is cancelled during the 2 year DashPass membership period, your DashPass membership will cancel automatically"

      • Yes they updated it as mentioned by others, you can see the revision happened after I posted with that added caveat.

  • What’s the cheapest way to get a 2 years Prime membership?

    (I am assuming similar to the Canadian one, once you cancel Prime, your Dashpass will also be cancelled)

    • You can get the Dashpass for free if you don't use your Prime Benefits. Cancelling at the end of the month gives you an option for a full refund.

      Then just need to repeat the process when you need it again.

  • I dont get it though the canada one never worked i thought? Didnt they cancel it after 1 month or something? I think i tried to get it but it didnt work so i never used the dashpass, why does it still think i have been using it all this time?

  • I was stuck in infinite loop, amazon to doordash like others. Logging into doordash showed no dashpass. I followed someone elses advice and deleted my doordash account then created a new one and now I cant redeem as it says it has already been done haha.

    I have log a ticket with Amazon regarding the 08/2025 for most of us. I am not sure they will look at the entire issue for everyone or just me. Thanks

        go to amazon.com.au, scroll to the bottom look for "Help" and scroll down little bit click on "Something else" and that should bring you to the chat with human.

      I contacted doordash by chat instead and the agent assured me that it is indeed 24 months despite showing different on manage my dashpass. (aug 2025) They must be able to see what I cant from their end. If I get charged beyond aug next year they will fix it. I have record of the chat so I will use that as proof if they say something different at a later date.

        I had similar conversation with Doordash online agent, and they said they will renew it next year. If I get charged, they will fix it and extend it until 2026. I kept the chat history. But I don't think they will fulfil it. I feel like the agent just want to find a way to end the conversation and let future online support staff to worry about that.

    For those with the looping issue, make sure your doordash account default payment type is set to something other than afterpay (i.e. a valid credit-card, debit-card or paypal account).
    Changing that fixed the issue for me.

    • Refresh/reboot doordash and check manage dashpass in your account to see if it went through.

    • Add Debit / Credit Card to Door Dash.
      Make sure AfterPay isn't primary method. That worked for me.

  • I also had the approval loop but kept trying. On my computer it eventually went straight to the doordash homepage instead. After that it showed the two year trial in my doordash account settings.

      Personally I don't trust that number. Possibly people upvoted following others. Could be a paid promotion/ads like some car deals with high votes without any sense. I'd question the actual number of people who have bought the car.

  • Mines having an issue where it says my doordash account is already linked to another amazon account. I think this is when I linked it to amazon canada since they have a 1 year free dash pass. I no longer have this though. Does anyone know how I can unlink that amazon account from dashpass?

    Got the loop fixed, change doordash payment type to debit card first before trying amazon offer - it worked immediately

    I too was stuck in an endless loop on my iphone… via app, safari etc etc… then I remembered somebody else mentioned to change your saved payment method from Afterpay (which mine was), to a credit / debit card… BINGO!!! went straight through :) Free Dashpass till 14.11.2026 (Yeeharr!!). Thank you to whoever that kind soul was:)

    'Your DoorDash account is already linked to a different Amazon account.'

    I'm sure it's to do with this one: 'Free DashPass (up to 1 Year) with Amazon Canada Prime Membership C$9.99/Month (~A$11) @ DoorDash & Amazon Canada'

    Support can't help. I'll just make a new DD account I suppose.

    • Ok finally worked. Had to change my address. There is no door dash items available at my house so it looped me. Try that if you get stuck

    I've noticed that grocery prices are significantly higher when ordering through the UberEats app compared to ordering directly from stores like Woolworths.
    I’d assume DoorDash is similar as well.

    I used the Canadian Prime dashpass deal using the free trial. The Canadian doordash dasspash gives cheaper rates, a lower $15 minimum spend (down from $20) for free delivery, and also gives you 50% off the service fee (12% -> 6%).
    Apparently there was a hack where you could string together free trials but it didn't work for me. It says $9.99 when I try for another prime.

    I DID use another amazon account to get another Canadian Prime for the dashpass but it says my doordash is already linked to an amazon account. Even though I unlinked them.

    • They both share data between each other so I bet they have your data in their backends. Unlink won't fully remove you from the system.

  • Has anyone figured out how to get back the september 2025 expiry bug?

    I initially was in my wife's doordash account (which had the amazon canada promo running) and it allowed me to renew till September 2025.
    I delinked the amazon account to doordash and logged into a brand new account. However it still gives me a renewal date till september 2025.
    Has anyone found a workaround to this?

  • Only received Dashpass until August 2025, so lodged a ticket with Amazon support. Hopefully if enough people report the issue, Amazon will take it seriously and come up with a fix.

    This offer is only eligible for Amazon Prime members. Subscribe to Amazon Prime to redeem this offer."

    I am a longstanding prime member. Did anyone manage to resolve this?

    • Fixed by swapping from Desktop to Mobile.

      Might be related to cookies or tracking scripts.

  • Thanks op, was able to add 2 years. Will do my first doordash order tonight :) OT but does anyone have insider info(own restaurant etc) and can say who takes the hit when it comes to all these discount codes? I've noticed a lot of 50% off ones, must be doordash that takes the hit right?
