    how are the convection oven modes and air fryers modes different enough to be able to say they different modes? an airfryer IS a convection oven.

      AirFryer mode, higher temperature, faster air circulation, heat more concentrated at the top, to crisp the food. This microwave can also grill, it has a grill / broil on top I am guessing that will be one of the key differences together with a more powerful fan to be able to "Air Fry"

      The amount of heat circulation. An oven generally just uses the fan to agitate the air so the whole oven heats evenly, an air fryer blasts the fan so that the heat moves quickly over the food and helps evaporate the escaping water which makes the food cook faster.

    I have this combi and it's outstanding. I would warn you that there is little warning once the preheat phase move to cooking. So If you forget to put your food in, it will possibly melt the crisping pan plastic bits holding the legs, which costs over $200 to replace.

    Looks like you can only use the special non-stick pan that comes with it for air-frying. Pan replacement is $200!

    True, the non-stick pan lasts up to 2 years regular use before noticable wear and need of replacement at a premium price which sux…

    If anyone finds a non-stick pan for an affordable price let me know :)

    I needed this before I bought this months ago, but still happy paying near full price, highly recommend, really got sick of plugging in and unplugging separate air fryer and putting away, no complaints at all except maybe can’t air fry too much at once

    Is this a noisy microwave? We have a Breville microwave with the dial and it sounds like a Hiace when its cooking.

    Mine was defective, E05 error code 2 weeks after purchase. Going through the returns/replacement process now. Noting the price of the included pan, do I need to return that with the unit? 😆
