Roborock Qrevo Master Robotic Vacuum Cleaner $1997 (Was $2699) + Delivery ($0 C&C/In-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

200

First deal post since I've been looking at this unit myself…

Not quite the cheapest it's ever been ($1968 recently) (and $1899.05 at Mobileciti - credit hamza23 - see below) (also $1788 on eBay Plus if you can be bothered signing up).

Update
My advice is negotiate with a store rep for between 1700 - 1800 depending on your location and stock levels.
Try also with Disc Gift cards as an Aus Post deal on physical Ultimates just dropped recently. Doing these two things will save you hundreds off the posted price here.

Lets hope the new Trump Administration follows through with it's proposed 60% tax on Chinese goods to the USA because it will heavily press China to slash the costs of products headed to Aus- such as what's happened in the recent Chinese EV market.
Realistically I think these units would be fairly priced at around $1450 since that's a fair conversion for what the Yanks are paying in equivalent USD on their recent sales.

Thanks to hamza23 for the mobileciti find with "TPD5" coupon code.
I'm not sure how returns are for those of us out of state but would be worth trying to price beat the 1899 at JB Hifi.

Also follow up like a pro OzBargainer and pay with 10% off gift cards (credit taegukgi) making sure you grab the JB redeemable ones.

This would bring the Qrevo Master down to $1709.10 and that's just pricematching with Mobileciti. [A price beat may get you lower depending on your sales rep]

A more respectable total. Still $260aud over what the yanks are paying tho 🫡

    This or an 85" Mini-LED?

    • +13

Mopping with the 85" Mini-Led might scratch the floor.

    • If the house ain't dirty and you're not lazy like me I'd def go the 85"!

  • +10

$1899.05 delivered at Mobileciti as an alternative, use code TPD5.

Edit: $1899.99 Delivered on their eBay store with code HGTECH1.

    • Will JB-Hifi price beat an item that might not be available locally but that delivers free of charge?
I'd like to know their cost price on this item…

      • Update: Unofficially they may do so — YMMV.

  • I’ve heard people say the $600 range just complements having a stick vac, is spending 2k the answer to never touching a vacuum or mop again?

    • +3

I have a robot vacuum (it was a gift) but I still need to vacuum and mop. The robot vacuum does work at getting most of the dust off the ground but it's limited because it's round meaning it can't get corners and because of the height it might not get under everything. It does cut down on mopping and vacuuming but it won't eliminate. Also you need to clean the robot vacuum because it gets clogged up with dust and hair esp if you have pets.

gets clogged up with dust and hair esp if you have pets.

        or humans with long hair.

        • +1

Gentlemen my experience is if you have good self cleaning dock. Chances of clogging are very less. But you will be looking to spend $1300+

Really can't justify the extra 600~ for the Master over the MaxV for the relatively small gains like more suction and a side arm extender. Waiting on a deal for the MaxV Again.

    • +1

Same, while the lubluelu is good value, I'm already tired of having to fill it up and swap out mop pads and so on.

    • @Fishy932, what about obstacle avoidance, is MaxV and Master the same on that front?

    • Picked up the MaxV in the last sale and have had for a few days now. First robot vac and very impressed with it.

  • +1

This one has flexi arm for both brush and mop. Prefect for people with OCD like me.

  • Flexi Lite offer is a bit iffy. If you actually go on to Roborock's website to submit the claim, it says:

"To be eligible, customer must purchase the Qrevo Master between 15th September 2024 to 15th October 2024. This redemption portal will close on 15th November 2024 6pm AEST and will not accept further redemptions through any other form of communication such as email, social media direct message"

  • I recently bought one version below this. QRevo MaxV and very happy with it. Best purchase ever. Pretty sure this will be even better.

    • @SpaceNinja anything you do like about it? I'm thinking about picking up one when there is a good deal on it.

      • Vacuuming, mopping, automation, obstacle avoidance, charging speed, dock, cleans to the wall: robot arm, mop lift. auto washing, emptying & drying.
Can be improved: Wires can get tangled.

  • +2

QRevo Curve will be better again

    • Is it out yet?

    • +1

No doubt, but it will be at least $2700 when released, possibly more.

      • That's what I'm thinking.
They'll release it and it'll be another thousand dollars more and probably not give you that value in extra cleaning power.
From what I can see also the Curve is still going to have that circular lidar unit on top which gets stuck on furniture.
The Qrevo Slim is aiming to overcome this problem a lot of us have with the robot not being able to get under beds and furniture but since this will use StarSight a new navigation method, you can bet it's gonna require a bunch of firmware updates till it's on point with current 360 lidar top mounted technology units.
I'm not super keen on being their product test dummy after shelling out 2.7k while they spend months getting the navigation to the level the current top tier units are at..

New units are constantly being released by roborock, it's tempting to get the best but probably just a matter of selecting the one that has the features you need since you'll likely replace it in a few yrs time no matter what you spend..

  • +1

Thank you, I've been wanting to replace my dying s5 for ages and I didn't want to keep waiting for the Curve.

Don't forget to pay with the discount JB gift cards at Big W (in description) and try for a price match /price beat to Mobileciti price hamza23 found from the JB sales rep 🙂
This could bring the price down another several hundred depending what sales rep you get.

  • +1

FOMO'd and ordered one online last night.
Obviously very last minute so couldn't organise to pay with gift card. With the Flexi Lite thrown it for free, it makes the vacuum around $1600, which I think is alright.
Hopefully I won't be disappointed after trying out Narwal Freo Z Ultra.

  • Everyone happily getting bent over paying these stupid prices

  • Holly, it’s only a $500 vacuum mopper in China. $2000 after discount 😪😓😓

    • I totally agree it's overpriced in our country. So annoying when you can see how much the cutting edge new models are straight out of China, or even the US prices.

  • +1

Just so everyone is aware how to get the best price on the Qrevo Master at JB-Hifi.
Depending on the sales crew you get it can be negotiated down to between 1700 - 1800 in person.
Currently Roborock Online have slashed it to $1799 and Bing Lee is $1788.
Try get a member of the sales team to price beat that.
Pay for it with discount gift cards like I did and other than the receipt being a mile long & checkout girl looking at you like you've got a death wish, you'll get it for around low 1500ish. I think between 1525 - 1600 would be in the ballpark of achievable. Mine was about 1575 after all the plate spinning. At that price over a period of 2yrs (warranty time) it's a solid investment in your time. Also cheaper than a cleaner if you're lazy.
Currently another user posted 10% physical ultimate discount cards at AusPost - Make sure you get the JB ones.
My advice is to buy it in store as in my experience the negotiated price was lower. Also if you have any issues with the Vac or aren't happy with it for some reason, returns are way easier in person to a physical retail store like JB than an online shop you gotta email and then ship to (These devices are pretty heavy around 20kg)
    Happy Shopping!
