Surprisingly the same prices in Woolies during my recent trip and the home brand mineral water was 10c cheaper than in VIC :)

  • Legend! šŸ¤ž

  • +4

Only way it gets honored if if the beer is short dated

    • Even then way too cheap at this price.

  • +2

Ordered 4 packs for $28. Most likely being sent 4 cansā€¦

    • +2

Check your confirmation email. It should say "Pacific Ale Cans x 4" and below that "16 x 375ml cans". If they send you only 4 cans, then you have cause for complaint. Most likely they will just cancel the order for price error.

    • +2

Why i took a screenshot of the order showing cartons

    • +1

Glad that I paid with PayPal

What a weird comment. He also wrote "best of luck" afterward..

      • -1

It would be fair for a deal to be enjoyed by at least the person who found it, rather than nobody at all when there is a price error. The internet points will help no one.
And no, I didnā€™t know about the price error before seeing the deal.
Not so sure about weird though.

        • +1

I'm with 50 cent. I might lose internet points for this but if you have a really good deal, save it for yourself or see if you can get a reward by notifying the business. Otherwise its just a waste of space and people's time blocking up the front page and leading to nadda

      • Hey.. just wondering if you still think it was a weird comment or does it make more sense to you now reading the recent comments below?

  • +2

Even though it's probably not going to be honoured, disappointed about missing out on it

    • That makes two of us, and surely many more….. lol.

  • +7

Damn, didn't get notified because my alert is for "price error" and not "pricing error", time to fix that.

  • Bummed, need to set alerts for these things.

  • anybody received any cancellation yet? or received the product? :)

    • I've had neither… the better fulfill the order otherwise they'll cop a spray.

  • +1

I received a shipping confirmation last night. Time will tell if I'll get 3 cans or 48.

    • +1

It's good to hear you got a shipping confirmation! I ordered the same amount you did and I'll be stunned if we only receive 3…

      • Have you had a shipping confirmation @nickw1984syd ?

        • Not yet buddy. I will chase them if I don't hear anything by tomorrow.

    • Can you upload a screenshot showing the confirmation sans any important information!

      • Screenshot of the email confirming the order or of the shipping?

        • Shipping

          • @nickw1984syd: I just went back into it and realised I hadn't actually read it. It wasn't saying the order was "shipped" it was asking me to install the SHOP app so I could track my order. That'll teach me to just scan the subject instead of reading the email.
            Apologies for the bad info.

    Pricing error email received :(
Act like they doing a favour with this line
To make things right, weā€™ll be issuing full refunds to all who ordered during the error.

    Extract below:

On 12th November, we discovered a pricing error on our online store, listing cartons of beer for $5 instead of $65. The result of a simple human error, this pricing mistake drew plenty of attention and led to a rush of orders placed at the incorrect price.
We apologise to our drinkers for any inconvenience caused by this slip-up. Transparency and integrity are key to what we do, so we want to keep you fully updated on whatā€™s happening next.
    Hereā€™s How Weā€™re Handling It
To make things right, weā€™ll be issuing full refunds to all who ordered during the error. Refunds will be processed over the coming days, so you should see the amount back in your accounts within 5-10 business days.
We know this may come as a disappointment, and weā€™re truly grateful for the patience and understanding from our community. Our team has already implemented safeguards to prevent this from happening again.

    • +3

Giving a refund is NOT 'making things right'… pathetic.

  • Just got an email saying they are going to refund my order haha.

  • Refunded. Spewing.

  • +2

Bastards. To make things right they should be sending a 4 pack or something.

  • +1

Refunded email…sad. Yes, they should give us something for make up like 50% off discount code.

    • 100% Hopefully if enough people email back stating their dissatisfaction they'll do something about it.

  • refund deez

  • +5

Yeah, the only thing theyā€™re ā€œmaking rightā€ is their profit margins. Bit if a shitty response

    • +2

I won't be buying Stone & Wood from the pub or the bottleshop for quite some time!

    • +4

Lol just got an email and it says ā€œtotal amount refunded: $0.ā€ No refund on my card either

      • +1

Same. Stonewalled by Stone & Wood.

      • +1

Got the same. What the heck is a $0 refund? They can't even get the refund email correct. Sheesh.

        • Canā€™t wait for them to make right the make right by maybe refunding us for shipping.

          • +2

@Winny182: It's interesting that they waited until my payment went from 'pending' to complete before sending the refund email. Since they noticed and fixed the pricing error within 90 minutes of it occurring, I wonder why it took roughly 2 days to issue an email telling us it will take a further 5-10 business days before we get the money back. What a tidy boost to their cash flow for the next 1-2 weeks…

      • Same. I replied telling them it's wrong (and that they're scammers). They opened a support ticket immediately.

    • +5

I'm going to contact fair trading regarding this issue. I suggest you all the do the same…

      "In Australia, the Australian Consumer
      Law (ACL) requires businesses to
      communicate clear and accurate
      prices to consumers before a
      purchase. Businesses must not
      mislead consumers about prices or
the reasons for price changes. If a
      business displays an incorrect price,
it must either sell the item at the
lowest price or stop selling it until the
      price is corrected"

      • -2

Hi everyone, I've submitted a complaint with Fair Trading, it took About 15 minutes to do it. So not long at all, I suggest you all do the same.

        • +3

Have you created two accounts to back yourself up on Ozb?

Never seen so much ginormous loser energy in my life. Complaining to Fair Trading about a very obvious price error my god.

When was the last time you got a slab for $5?

  • -3

This exactly why arenā€™t voting on a deal until know final outcomeā€¦

  • Check your bank statements to see if they actually refunded you.

I didnā€™t receive a refund until I replied back to them and then received my refund with the shopify refund email
