Looks like the Opolar from years ago. (Even has the Opolar logo in the 5th image).

If it's the same, then it's micro-usb charging.

    • +20

Stay away if it's Opolar. Mine stopped charging within a year of use

      • +4

        I had 2 opolar
I got to use each of them once before they stopped charging.

        • +4

Still have my opolar, still working, still charging. YMMV I guess

        • Mine stopped charging too, took it apart couldn't find anything loose, bought a different type from aliexpress

      • +3

Mine lasted just over a year. Just long enough for the warranty to run out.

      • mine still works and its been three years

      • While plugging it in to charge, turn it on and pull the cable out of the charger and it'll keep running

      • My Opolar one charges, but it seems to die pretty quick when not in use, basically have to pre-charge it any time I want to use it (which ruins a lot of the convenience).

    • mine died few days ago after a couple of years

  • +1

So it's a datavac or 8 of these

    • +1

Im still leaning on just getting a datavac. It blows.

      • +5

I find that spending more upfront for a good product that works well is a better investment than spending it on a copy that tries to reach a fraction of the OGs power and reliability.

    • There is an ESD safe datavac though.

  • dont know if i needed it.. saw op's post saying get in quick, and ordered one.. lol

  • +3

My keyboard is dusty, I bought one

  • +5

    Bought y'day and arrived today,
Extremely similar to OPolar one. I'm pretty sure that OPolar is a white-label of this

  • +18

These aren't that great. Buyer beware.

  • +13

I got one from a previous deal not the same brand but looks the same. The battery died in a year with only a few uses.

    • +1

Same here. That was the Opolar posted here years back.

    • same here, bought 2 both died in the ass after a year or so

      • +6

Should have tried using it elsewhere…

  • +1

I'll be using this to start the coal for a bbq lol

  • +5

Bought one over 2yrs ago and it's still going strong. YMMV

    • +5

I got mine 4 years ago, and still going strong.

      • I got it from the same deal and the battery died within a year

      • yup.. I just looked up when I bought mine and it was back in 2020 - mine also still working (used it recently to clean out the motor in my vacumm cleaner).

      Bad luck Richard
      Good luck Richard

These things are useless. I bough an OPolar a couple of years ago. It blows when it works. The quality is terrible. The switch get stuck and would not come back. Mine completely died after a few months.

  • I bought the Makita DAS180 Blower and never looked back. The Opolar battery died after a month.

  • +3

Mine is going strong even after 3 years

  • Showing as $49.99

  • +2

I’ve had the Opolar version from this a couple years ago and it died from being used less than 10 times (less a year). Straight to landfill

Don’t expect this product to last at all

  • Buy a corded one ;)

  • is this good enough to drying a car after wash? looking for something for it.

    • Yeah, sure! As long as it's a blazing 40 degrees outside

    • +3

      Matchbox car maybe!

    • +1

You need a bigboi for a car.

  • Depending on how hard you need to dust, I just use my Xiaomi Mi Portable Electric Air Pump. Works a treat on my electronics, and I can look after my tyres and balls with the same device.

  • +1

These are absolute garbage, would trade for a single can of compressed air

  • Does anyone have any recommendations for a rechargeable one? Looking for one to just do some PC dusting.

  • +1

Got the Opolar one. Not even close to the pressure of a can of compressed air. Would not buy again.

  • There's much better ones for cheaper on AliExpress

I recently got a really powerful one that's way smaller for $30

    • Thanks for the link

Please post a non-referral link or whatever keeps the over-moderation of this site happy

      • +1

I've tried a few and it keeps setting it to referral 😞

    • Can you provide a link or pm me?

    • Can you provide a link via Private message? Thanks

      • Link pls

  • Junk. Worth $10.

  • +2

Had a portable Opolar, barely holds a charge now and dies after seconds.

Ended up getting a powered one that should "hopefully" never die, and is much more powerful.

    • I had the same experience with the Opolar. Died after a few months of barely using it.

  • +4

Cheap garbage, don't buy. Mine also holds no charge.

    • Yeah mine was good for a couple of months until it died with very light use. Better off $ wise buying cans of compressed air. A $10 can would go way longer than this item.

      • Mine too, I contacted them with a video of issue, and they sent me a new one.

Anyone know a good (cheap) one for blowing cars dry?

        • I have an electric leaf blower that might do the trick

  • i breath heavier than this thing bought one in another special never used, borderline useless!
