Officeworks offer to "manufacture" a screen protector rather than using an off the shelf one. Apparently, it's Zagg. Anyone with experience with those, especially on recent Samsungs?

I have a tempered glass right now and I don't love it. It also interferes with the fingerprint scanner. I would much rather go with a film
Could just go naked. Introduce a bit of risk and excitement every time you pick up and put down your phone.
lol triple so with a 2 year old!
I always used to have screen protectors but now I just use a Folio case. I do the same with my iPad.

What's the difference between a "manufactured to order" screen protector vs an "off the shelf" one that you can buy and apply straightaway? It's not like anyone's got "custom" phones with individual sized/shaped screens.
If you have a recent Samsung, there's plenty of options already and probably much much cheaper.
I'm not sure it's going to be more expensive. The Samsung screen protector wasn't working too great with the fingerprint scanner, but was decent enough. It got damaged so I had to replace it.
I got one off of Amazon, tempered glass, but it's not working well with the fingerprint scanner. I just thought I would give OW a try. It doesn't look like they're more expensive than any decent alternative
Not sure it it will help but there is a reddit posting on the fingerprint issue.

It seems costly(regardless of tier) for a non-glass screen protector. You could get an idea by looking at reviews of the equivalent Zagg. eg: Amazon reviews.
If you don't have a curved screen, tempered glass would likely be better.
