I'm pretty sure these are grey importants, local players will not price match.

  • Dont forget motorola interface could be missing other settings compared to samsung or apple

AIUI they use a more vanilla Android interface. Some of the Samsung extra crap pisses me off to be honest. And Apple? get outta here!

The added features from Samsung’s OneUI are quite useful and good quality of life improvements. Most stuff can be uninstalled or disabled if you dont need them. A lot of features Samsung has introduced before into its own skin, Google has adapted in stock Android over the years. Bloated Samsung especially from the S4, S5 days are long gone.

PS, I use a samsung z flip 6, pixel 9 pro fold and iPhone 15 pro max.

imo the motorola gestures is the best experience yet

Brave buying a direct import in the post 3G shut-down era.

  • Wont get any manufacturers warranty from motorola AU

No MicroSD? what a shame, is there any modern phones with addon card support?

    • +1

Mid-range phones usually have MicroSD card, but not flagship models. you can use GSM Arena phone finder to look for one.

For anyone that is looking to buy an import phone, read the Wiki page here and pay attention to the network bands. You'll want to research on whether they actually fully support Aussie telcos (some may not even support 4G LTE emergency calling)

  • I would only purchase a flip phone through a proper retailer in AUS or Amazon, the eventual warranty will be a huge hassle
