this is a good deal but with this money, better off just get a multi-port GAN charger with a smaller footprint

    • Are there any multiport chargers that do 140W from a single port?

        https://www.apple.com/au/shop/product/HRQH2X/A/anker-charger…

Found this 4 ports one in Apple store and the first port is 140W

        • Not bad - would be a good one to watch out for on sale.

Assuming you need/want the 140w, this plus another charger which would be more versatile.

That said, I have one or two of these, 87W chargers, and 30W Apple Chargers sitting around the house and I never use them. I think i've used the Magsafe cable 3 or 4 times.

This is a GaN charger if that is important to anyone

As well as its use of the USB-C PD 3.1 standard, Apple also confirmed that the brick is its first gallium nitride (GaN) charger, which means it’s using the material that allows companies to build higher-powered chargers that are smaller in size than their traditional counterparts.

    • Are you comparing a macbook pro to a redmi phone?

Oh, sorry, I thought Apple phones finally started to compete, I was wrong. Only laptops are competitive, the mobiles are still not.

Oh sorry you made the mistake of thinking you had a knowledgeable opinion.

      • Haha he is comparing the most secure mobile phone in the world to a Chinese phone, gave me a good giggle to start my week, thanks Ozzster

        • Where do you see security topic? This topic is about charging, where Apple sells a charger for half price of the phone with such charger in the box. In meantime, Apple phones are 5 years behind in charging speed.

  • Got it for $60 from catch last year.

    • I saw one on Catch around November last year for around $60 and nearly pulled the trigger, but noticed it was a 65w one. Sure you didnt get that one as the cheapest i have seen this one is $109.

  • $90 for a charger, and that the sale price!
