The Sydney Flames host Bendigo Spirit this Wednesday night at Quaycentre. Both teams compete in Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) which runs from November 2024 to March 2025. The venue for the game is Quaycentre (the old State Sports Centre) in Sydney Olympic Park.
The Flames are led by Paris Olympic Bronze Medallist, Cayla George with Emma Clarke and Shaneice Swain returning from last season. New recruits include Mikaela Reuf who has started the season on fire and US imports Celeste Taylor and Yemiyah Morris. The Flames have won one game and lost one game so far this season, so Wednesday night’s game is crucial for momentum in the first part of the season. As always there’ll be a lot of music, dancing, prize giveaways, free facepainting and lots of posters and banners. Tickets for this Wednesday night are complimentary so come along, bring your friends and family and bring the heat!
