Westinghouse 609L French Door Refrigerator WHE6170SB $2545 + Delivery + $200 Bonus TGG eGift Card via Redemption @ The Good Guys

110

Have been watching the price on this fridge for a while and it's barely been below $2800. Decided to pull the trigger on this deal. Effectively $2345 with the gift card. Hard to find accurate price history for this kind of thing but I think it might be an ATL?

  • Can the $200 voucher be used on
    the fridge itself?

    • Online redemption post transaction so doesn't stack no.

      • Thanks! Been keeping an eye on this fridge for a while

recently got refunded by samsung, my fridge dies with 4 weeks of the 2 year parts and labour warranty remaining. Seems it had had a compressor or refrigerant issue, and it was 10 years on compressor. The luck seemed to be labour was still in warranty period, they don’t recharge fridges in home due to possible leak of refrigerant, and complexity of the task, so cheaper to refund a $1400 fridge than to fix it. had the labour expired i would have had to pay for labour to fix the fridge though parts would have been free. I got now a hisense 609L (had for 2 mths) got hisense because it has 3 year labour warranty and 10 year compressor, if it breaks after 3 year labour warranty it’s a bin job if it’s compressor or refrigerant issue as if i have to pay for labour it’s too high to replace the compressor that is under warranty ….if getting a fridge make sure it has good labour warranty, the 10 years compressor warranty isn’t worth it if you need to lay for labour ….

    • Whats the warranty on this?

We had the slightly bigger version of this (WHE6270SB). Cooling stopped after 2 years due to gas leak. Swiflty replaced with a new one. Another 2 years passed, same issue again and had to wait for a month and a lot of phone calls but got another new replacement in the end.

the fridge the samsung replaced was a sharp that worked for 30 years, only replaced because couldn’t get replacement shelves, i now really feel i’ve entered the era of throw away appliances as too expensive to fix.

      • I bought a cheap fridge $800 for temporary main fridge with the plan was going to be a garage fridge when i got my house. 10 years later still going. Fisher and paykel.

        • Yeah my cheapie Samsung “temporary” fridge is still going after 12 years. The thing won’t die. We’ve even moved house 5 times with it and it’s never skipped a beat. At this point I really just want it to die so I can get a new toy.

  • Nice find, tempted to buy this as well!
