Just moved back to Brisbane and need to set up some Internet.
Landline phones seem obsolete, so I'm guessing naked ADSL is the way to go.
What's the best deal? TGP maybe? I'm thinking I should get a fairly large download amount, 60GB or more. Good download speeds are also fairly important.

im with internode, no complaints but stay away because I want the pipe all to myself ;-)
Best deal is probably TPG. Although for research it's probably best to use Whirlpool's Broadband Choice.
Does anyone use cable? Are there any other providers other than Telstra?
I use Telstra Cable 100mbit on the 500GB plan for $119 a month.
They seem to offer the best pings for gaming.
Its great because I can download at 12 MB/s.
Optus also offer Cable, unsure how good they are, prices are similar to Telstra.
I have cable mostly because copper phone lines are horrible, low sync speeds and occasional issues.
If you are close to the exchange or want to download 1TB a month, go with something like the unlimited TPG plan.
TPG actually have one of the best networks in Australia, gaming pings are higher then Internode/Telstra though.
The other cable provider is Optus.
Yeah I use cable, optus cable, craps all over ADSL if your lucky enough to live in an area with access to it. 5ms ping times and 100mb line, $85 a month for 500GB
If you want to go with TPG then I see no reason of choosing the naked ADSL. The unlimited plans for naked and for the home phone bundle have the same price of $70 per month.
