2nd time this has happened and the matte pla is close but the petg isnt so this color is going to be discontinued as I cant seem to get the factory to make it right, this colour may return with the help of another factory but with 200 rolls now being off Im over trying to make this filament.

    colour looks fine to me!
would seriously consider except I DON'T need any more filament right now. (telling myself, in hopes that I listen and thus don't need to find more space to store….)

I said the same thing myself all the way through the checkout process up until my shipping confirmation email…

      • Hey Brother - I seem to have missed that email. Am a little surprised I managed to listen. Didn't do the order, but I'm certain I will again sometime in future.
Hope it goes well for you
        and : Thanks Sidd

Too bad you don't do 3/5 kg rolls. The OrangeStorm Giga will eat 1kg rolls for breakfast.

funny enough just in on friday temporarily 5kg rolls of petg though not pla

  • Do you have a maroon PLA?

  • Any chance of a hikoki green?

  • Anyone used Siddament and compared it against the quality of Bambu PLA or Elegoo PLA?

    • +2

Don't have anything where I can compare to those, but check the past deals.
I don't think you will find anyone complaining, except those who discovered they missed them and didn't get some good filament at a good price.

I've used both Bambu and Siddament PLA, though disclaimer, most of the Siddament I use is/was Shittament dried in a Sunlu S1.

Siddament quality prints well, just with some minor stringing. I've had no issues with it in the AMS, even with auto-refill. My only real problems with Siddament filament are in their PETG.

I've used the samples of Bambu PLA and previously my top brand was Pollymakers PolyTerra filaments.

I now pretty much only use Siddaments Matte PLA's (similar to PolyTerra) and have had no issues printing them, excellent quality and value. I've purchased many colours around probably around 20 spools now.

    • Bambu PLA is a waste of money, you can reuse the rfid tags on the siddament spools if you need the auto colour/remaining capacity detection
