These skateboards break very easy, I cracked the deck and snapped a truck first couple of rides. Might be ok for a child. 100% do not recommend

  Decks are all made in the same handful of factories in China. I wouldn't be surprised if the no name trucks that come with all completes are made in a single factory.
  
  I have 2 Elements sitting in my garage that get used occasionally. My everyday setup costs around $300.
  
  If you want a skateboard to start out on, a backup or one for the kids you are not going to get anything better for less than a couple of hundred.
