London to Sydney Return under $2000???

Hi guys, I'm looking out for tickets flying out before Xmas and returning just after New Years. Anywhere possible with tickets for under $2000 ??

Good luck … the highest demand days of the year on that route

There is a way to do it for around $2400 with QF .. its not a straightforward booking method though

Try www.skyscanner.com with the flexible search feature. If you are willing to leave this afternoon and return 15th January you can get them for $1296 per person. I suppose it depends on your flexibility and definition of "just before/after".
