Microsoft is a little startup company, they cannot handle this much traffic, just be patient and try again tomorrow.

I was having the same issues. Workaround found: go to the Microsoft Store on your computer and find it there, select "Get" where it will queue and begin the download. You can pause and cancel the download and should still see it listed as acquired in your library.

      • Thanks that worked 👍

      • thanks, but didn't work, gateway 503 error (on both firefox and edge)
reminder set for a couple of days
        .

        • But you shouldn't be accessing through browser? It is through the Microsoft Store app already installed on Windows.

Hi is there a way to just add games in the MS store instead of downloading it straightaway, my 250Gb SSD is almost full

    • Keep your OS on the SSD and install everything else on a separate drive.

I have a high speed HDD - works well

      • Good tip if you have a separate drive.

You can start the download and then cancel it. You'll still see the game in your "library".

    • You might want to run Disk Cleanup. If you have a backup of the system drive then you might want to run Disk Cleanup again and this time hit the "Clean up system files" button to clear out older stuff. I've never had an issue with this but I always make a system images beforehand, just in case.

    • Just click download, and cancel. The game will be in your library.

still that does not answer my question ? is there a way to just add to library like steam?

    • Store link and get worked for me - didn't download

It automatically starts to download, and as far as I know the only way is to then go and stop the download. It will still be in your library available to download later.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Didn't work for me.
MS Remoted into my PC. Said it was the dev's fault. To contact them. <shrug>
