Anyone Tried Different Types of Bleach for Cleaning?

Just wondering if anyone has tried using different brands or types of bleach for cleaning anything from toilets to floors to sinks and found any difference besides just using the cheapest stuff.

I know really that fragrance can be a good sell but as for cleaning power they are all the same no? It's just an illusion of choice or has anyone read up or experimented with different bleach and found something.

Main component of bleach sodium hypochlorite

The concentration will be the determining factor

the only difference between bargain basement brand from aldi or bunnings and a premium branded product from woolies will be the fragrance. The concentration for indoor house cleaning is generally samey same

      • This is my understanding.

      • And, like me, the premium bleach tends to be a bit thicker.

        • There's cheap of both

Aldi sells cream bleach which is better for toilets, it's twice as strong and sticks better

The liquid is less strong but better for cleaning floors

Pool bleach for clean outdoor surfaces

  • Use the right cleaning product for the job.
Bleach for toilets is used to kill germs and other nasties, not really used a a cleaner without elbow use.
Bleach of floors is used to make the black marks white. Should not have allot of nasties on floors. Bleach may help with getting stuff that reacts with bleach if it is on the floor, but I have NFY what this would be,
Bleach on mold just makes it white. Vinegar and other things kills mold spores.

    • I keep forgetting that mould is killed by vinegar better than say exit mould or bleach. Have to tackle some mould on window blinds.. I guess I'll just use vinegar in some water diluted and see how it goes.

Google DIY mould killer with clove oil and tea tree oil as this may work better as it will not bleach stuff white if you get it on things that you do not whitened.

services typically avoid using bleach because it can damage surfaces, release harmful fumes, and pose health risks to occupants, especially children and pets. They prefer eco-friendly and safer alternatives for effective cleaning. QualityCleaners
