Everyday Extra No Longer Does Double Discounts Each Month at Woolworths

Was a bit of a public secret that Everyday Extra allowed you to do an online purchase at Woolworths Online at 10% off, then another one in-store at Woolworths at 10% off in the same calendar month, even though terms say it's only one 10% off shop.

But now people are saying that this is no more :( Apparently if you make an online purchase with the code now, you can't do an in-store 10% off in the same calendar month.

Sad, but I guess at $35/year it's still paying for itself. Hard to justify $70/year for us though.

  I found that the hard way. I purchased online just to find out, it showed used few days later. I went to Woolworth and it doesn't even ask me for 10% discount anymore. Oh well, I did save $9 dollaryroos this month.

  I guess that depends on how much you spend at Woolworths and Big W

  Even if you only did a $60 shop every month you'd still finish in front (12 x $6 discount = $72)
  Not to mention the double points and the free 'perk' every month.

    Often times the perk is a bit useless, they're just things we'd never really buy for myself. Yes, a $60 shop would technically cover it, but that's a harder hurdle to clear every month if you're just a 1-2 person household, and that doesn't give you savings, you're just breaking even. You still had to spend some effort pooling all your purchases in a day, rather than buying it when you need it.

    Definitely still pretty good if you're a family who can pool all your purchases to one day a month though.

  I still get two instore ones at Woolies each month, plus one at Big W, plus a free product.

  I've never ordered online from them.

    How are you even getting two in-store ones a month at Woolies just from Everyday Extras? I've never heard of that happening before

  Yeah found this out this morning

  Thankfully I wasn’t doing a big shop in store, just picking up some odds and ends, but I did have it planned to do a second big shop at the end of the month… guess Decembers shop is going to be massive aha
