Best Money Spend / Tracking App - Android ?

Hi looking for a spend tracking app.

Android
Do not need bank account / cc integration.
Simple categorisation / tracking
Ability to have recurring expenses
Ability to export to CSV.
Some pretty in app graphs are always nice.

Previously used:
Ivy
Monefy

Ideally free or a one off fee I don't need another subscription in my life.

What do you use?

  • I use a boring excel sheet but if you insist on an app, try the free edition of pocketsmith

  • +1

I'm currently using Cashew after trying a bunch of budgeting/expense tracking apps on the Play Store over the years. Great design, has data sync so you can use multiple devices and also access to your data via the web app. Sync is optional and you can always do local backups. They have source on GitHub as well.

The free version does so much already (everything you're asking for), I only bought the lifetime option (~$20) to support the devs.

    • I will give it a go for this app. thanks

  • I use firefly III. Needs to be self-hosted but worth the additional setup hassle.

  • Been using Toshl, it's paid but been using it for almost 10 years

  • I've been using My Budget Book for years.

Great App that can do all the above + more.

Not free though. Once of purchase ($7.99)

  • The Youtube legends from Equity Mates seem to like Pocket Smith. It also has great reviews on Reddit.

  • I use Buddy. Love this app, can do everything you wanted except export to csv

    • Can you do any export?

  • Thanks for all the suggestions. Don't really need the budgeting function. Really just like the tracking / categorisation / comparison over time.

  • "Really just like the tracking / categorisation / comparison over time."

Then I highly recommend Fast Budget - Expense Manager.
