Said it before and I'll say it again. Even at $5, this is not worth it. You can only adjust this forward and back, no height adjustment without a tool. This is a dual monitor which is much worst than two separate individual monitor arms. These arms can also sag since heavy monitors can apply a lot of torque. Do not buy, not even for $5

      Thanks, saved me $5

    • +1

So this is basically a mass-produced equivalent of a stack of old uni textbooks/Yellow Pages?

      • +3

The advantage of a monitor arm is that it frees up desk space - I have a DAC/amp where my monitor stand would be.

    • +5

      Sounds like it's fine if

      • You don't need height adjustment
      • Have light monitors

I have a dual monitor arm and mainly use the ability to lift monitors when I rarely use my desk for standing. Without standing, this could be suitable - worth a shot at $5 as long as you know the limits.

    • +1

I wouldn't use one of these again if someone offered me $200 to do so. If you hate your monitors get this device. The cheap-ish f40 gas lift arms for about $30 are pretty good if you're penny pinching. Atdec if you want a premium solution.

      • Thanks 👍

So much exaggeration from both you and BrewerHaHa, I refuse to believe that they're as bad as you're both making them out to be.

    • when they normally cost $40-$70 it is worth it

I got this the other week from the $19 deal, absolutely no problems with it. Feels rock solid, does exactly what I need (holding 2 x 24"), and I have every confidence in it. At $5, I might get more just in case I find other desks needing it

    Thanks bought 2.

A no brainer @ $5 each with onepass

  • +1

    Thank you

  • Bought a similar mount on Amazon upon COVID I think about $70. Maybe no longer in high demand nowadays.

  • Cheers OP ;)

  • Thanks, took a punt on one

  • Anyone know if this can fit a 27" Dell S2722DC or similar vertically?

    • +1

Yep! If you move as high as possible.

      • Great thanks! They're less than 6kg so hoping will be suitable semi long term but will see. Worth a try for 5 bucks… If I can get my hands on one!

  • Gone i guess

  • automatically refunded

  • +3

    Got 2

  • +3

thanks OP, should be good enough to hold two smaller portable monitors underneath my ultrawide.

  • +3

    Grabbed 2. Thx.

    • and my order has been cancelled :(

Cheers OP got 4 - 1 for home, 1 for office and 2 Chrissy pressies for my Colleagues at work

    • I'm not sure how i'd feel about getting a monitor arm from a co-worker. Do they know it's coming?

      • We have had a sudden rush on "OHS" related items showing up in the office, the two I am giving said to get something like this if I ever see it. It took a while to get away from the Microwave Toastie Sambo makers recently (think I had to buy 15 or so for different people in my travels)

When will we get another single gas mount arm for <$20

  • -1

can we combine postage from a previous order for those click charger thingies?

  • +2

This thing is a piece of shit. Even if it's free I wouldn't bother. Articulation is shit, barely supports my monitors when I tried it. I have two 27", thing was rubbish, sagged after a few days. Brought it back for a refund.

Bunnings must get a lot of these random items for dirt cheap and figured if they flog it off at regular price, then clear it off at the end it'll be all good.

I bought this monitor bar light they had for $3, after a month it stopped working.

Honestly why is Australia such a great dumping ground for sub-par Chinese goods. Don't get me wrong, there are good quality Chinese made products, most stuff we use are those. But these off brands and crap is just wasted land fil.

    • Similar experience. Thing looked ok out of the box. Two identical monitors on it and one arm sagged about 3-5mm more than the other. And with no vertical adjustment….

    good christmas gift :D

  • Just got a text that my single unit order has been refunded. VIC

  • Bought 2, 2 separate orders.

    Both order cancelled and refunded

    • I put in another 2 orders at 2 different stores, see what happens haha

    Looks flimsy AF! Avoid., avoid!

  • Order cancelled. Made another order for C&C.

    • Silent and no response so far haha looks like they messed up

      • C&C order got cancelled and claimed no more stock. No any refunds so far.

  • Order cancelled. Melbourne Northern suburbs.

Honestly most people are probably better off getting 2 single monitor arms (not this type), you will get way more flexibility in how they are mounted vs having both on one. I recently did this, at first I was concerned about how it would look having two arms attached to the desk instead of one but looks and is way more practical.

    • +3

The benefit of this is probably that it is $5. Two monitor arms would likely cost about $65 on sale.

  • +1

Looks like they have changed to "In store only", so no C&C or Delivery…

  • 404 error

  • +1

    Thanks OP, bought 4

  • Bought 3, helped to clean out the stock in Adelaide - none in Edwardstown mile end or Wayville (despite what Bunnings stock says) - my three came from Windsor gardens at great expense to one of the other stores — a great hassle but they bent over backwards to help out

I think Qld Health just bought a gazillion of these. The poor staff hate them and their inflexibility (the monitor arms, not the IT geeks).

    • lol that's typical

the other places i've been to usually get really nice ones given you're gonna be trying to get them to not sag after a few months

  • No Stock order cancelled :(

  • booo. both this and the $3 30w charger got cancelled and refunded.

  • Ordered 2 of these from Innaloo and they refunded one and ones ready to collect!

  • did anyone actually get a order successfully ?

I did 4 orders, 3 refunded so far

  • Delivery order cancelled. Pickup fulfilled.

Brought it, installed it, running two 27in monitors on it, it does exactly what you expect, once installed its reasonably secured. Worth noting that it lacks an easy way to do height adjustment so if you need to adjust your monitor alot, this probably isnt for you. Aside from that, for $5 it provides tremendous value.

    • Copy, it worth more than $5 IMHO

I got order cancelled but havent got my money back into my paypal account ffs. Wonder if I have to contact them. I also have onepass subscription and ordered in the first 20min of this being posted.

I also don't like how bunnings handled the pricing error. Simply cancelling the order without sending out emails acknowledging any wrongdoing.. very bad form.

    • -1

It's not pricing error it's clearance item with super low stock

      • -1

Sounds like you are just woke up and made the comment

  • Got a refund :(

  • I got a cancelation from thomastown, but no refund…hmmmmm

  • while picking up the 2 boxes of the mounts at Brendale last night, the girl at the front mentioned a few other people were asking about the item before i arrived…
apologies to the bargainers who missed out due to my greed…

  • Someone at Munno Para West (SA) doing a C&C got cancelled… Sorry I asked Rowland to put it aside for me Thurs morning and he did, what a legend 🫡

Got 2 delivered, not as adjustable as spring arms but the pole is quite tall.

Im using them to hold portable monitors underneath my ultrawide at an angle so it works great for that. Gas arm wouldn't be as low profile.

You could even mount 2 sets of the arms to hold 4 monitors on the one pole.

These are still available for $4.75 if you have a PowerPass through the app. Item number 0011989
