Love these. Awesome quality and a steal at $14.90.

  • Pretty much only wear these. Would buy some if I needed more colours!

  • No cashback for Uniqlo U 😔

How do people rate these vs their Supima shirts?

    • +1

They're different weight and cut. It's a more relaxed cut. Sleeve length and size. Thicker neckline.

I personally prefer the Uniqlo U. People might not like the feel of a thicker shirt (the Supima shirts are quite soft) or the relaxed cut, but in my personal experience since it's thicker and has a sturdier neckline it lasts longer.

    • I got 2% on my order, confirmed by email too 🤔

  • what's with the oversized box fit? looks like something you'd wear to bed…

Japanese people love that style. I don't know why, but it's 'in'

    • I've stopped shopping at uniqlo because all the clothes look straight out of a Korean drama. Very boxy cuts that are not flattering for any body shape.

It's a shame, because I love their approach to various fabrics.

Mostly shop at Lululemon now, at 2x the price

  • Are the undies any good? 2 for $14.90

They're really good (way better than Bonds/Jockey and Anko at least) but they're always on that multi-buy price.

    • Can't speak for those but their Airism underwear are the best

  • how does this compare to the airism?

    • +1

It is slightly warmer than the airism, not having that thinner sweat-wicking material, but I think that this more structured material drapes better and looks like an overall more classic t-shirt. I would say that the Airsim is like the Barcelona of Spain whereas the Cotton U is like the Madrid.

        So…
The Airism used to be good 10 years ago but now it's crap,
And the Cotton U is the best t shirt in the world?

Just checked them out in store. Too thick and not soft. Much prefer supima cotton tshirt. Who wears this kind of shirt in summer?

    • +5

People like me with man boobs and a belly ha ha.

Size down and the fit improves. The neck is good, decent shirt in cooler weather

They soften up after one wash. I bought one last time they were $15 and am surprisingly happy with that. Had the same queries as you did

  • Will these get that wrinkle around the neck after some washes?

    • You're talking about the shirt, right?

      • Yes … Dang it, dont worries about it

  • +2

Pity their free shipping is so high

  • This or AS Colour?

    • Overall I’ve found Uniqlo shirts last a bit better than AS. But I’d be happy with either.

Wish these guys did a slim-fit for DYEL guys like me

  • Any deals on breathable long sleeve casual shirts? Find short sleeve a little too casual sometimes, plus my skin burn easily.

  • How is the sizing on these? I'm usually a Large but the Medium looks huge on the model…

    • -2

They are not a good cut. I went in store and tried them. L which is my usual size way too big and boxy. Medium closer fit but I still didn’t like it. They’re way too thick and nothing special about them at all so I’m surprised at all the upvotes. I don’t think $14.90 is that good of a price at all either. Got some nice Helly Hansen tshirts at Anaconda made from soft organic cotton for $10 each and they are much better.

  • Love uniqlo. Staff are so nice. Clothes are great.
