Wu-ben again and this time it's the new version of the Wuben H1 with the main differences being that the microUSB port for charging has been ditched in favour for USB-C and it now has a more breathable headband.

Featuring an adjustable P9 LED as the primary light with 1200 lumens, light angle of 100°, 4 basic modes (high/med/low/moon) and 3 flash modes (strobe/sos/beacon). The secondary light can go white or red with 1 flash mode (red flash). There's a 2600mAh removable 18650 battery and the headlamp is IP68 waterproof rated.

For the included 2600mAh 18650 battery I recommend upgrading to the LiitoKala Lii-35A 3500mAh 18650 battery as it'll give you a better runtime and the battery itself will last longer.

Looks cute, wish they had magnets on base.

For that reason I have to still give the jimothy golden dare iced coffee seal of approval award in category of head mountable torch to wurrkos hd15

I'd recommend the Wuben E7 with the headlamp accessory if you wanted an alternative with a magnetic base. It's much more compact compared to the hd15. I bought a set of 2 (E7 + headlamp accessory) for $83.76 less than 2 months ago

Can you reprogram the modes on these?

Want something for kids that doesn't have lots of useless strobe modes on it.

    • See my response to the previous comment. In addition to that, it's also very simple to use as it has less modes (no red light) and no additional trigger features (eg. Motion trigger optional via accessory) compared to your typical headlamp. It was perfect for my 3yo & 5yo when we went camping

  • ooh tempted to get this but liquidating my camping stuff. great deal tho

  • For the included 2600mAh 18650 battery I recommend upgrading to the LiitoKala Lii-35A 3500mAh 18650 battery

Any recommendation for a protected 18650? Kids will be using these.
