Family of three needing washing machine. Looking at Chiq combo or Hisense series 3
I had a friend that got a cheap floor model Solt washing machine from The Good Guys. You could have a look around to see if they have anything discounted in-store.
Or if you're find with second-hand, then marketplace should have plenty of second-hand washing machines. All you'll need to do is rent a van or trailer to pick it up.
Whats solt like
Nothing fancy. But it's been going well for almost two years now with no issues.
Better off getting something second hand. You could pick up a washing machine in almost brand new condition for like $100-200 on Marketplace all day, every day. I would rather get something that's a bit older than something like a Chiq which would probably not last you that long.
If you can wait a few weeks, you'll probably be able to get some good deals as you'll have a lot of people moving around at the end of the university semester - students moving interstate after graduating, international students going back home…etc.

lots of patience
I agree on most things but I feel gross about a used washing machine. Rather get a new cheapie personally
have you ever stayed in a hotel
Hotel isnt washing my undies
Back in the early 90s before I could afford my own washing machine, I took all of my laundry to the local "coin laundry", where it was $2 to wash, and $2 to dry per load.
Hopingbto get some recommendations and or personal experience with the chiq or hisense series 3 also mayb considering haier or f&p series 3
Front or Top loader?
prefrence front but open to recommondations
Check marketplace, I got a used Simpson (Electrolux) front loader washing machine for $140 delivered in mid 2018, still works as new.
Have the 5.5kg for 4 years with no drama. The 7kg maybe better for three.
