I use gluten with NordVPN and it works fine, I believe it uses an API key. Unless you need your whole computer routed over Nord, it's the way to go.
Same here, I tunnel qBittorrent over gluetun and it works great.
I got it running on linux mint and Opensense and Openwrt …np at all the config files are up to scratch and up to date i just dont like how
linux has No gui for Nord vpn so ya have to do it manualy (its like tearing your nails out)

But Openwrt is the easiest you just have to make a client list for each server you wish to connect toNow I have a Gli-inet and that makes it sooooooo simple to connect .i just have the old Ax1800 flint but i will be getting the new one from Gli-inet ive heard its a great router once Updates have been done and tweeked

They don't support Wireguard manual configs. Just their own client.

I find the Ookla test basically gives you the absolute best case scenario for your internet connection, which isn't indicative of general net usage. Might be a quirk of how Ookla optimises the connection for the test that results in a higher internet speed.
Hmmm i thought the tests were meant to show your max speed not the average?
Testmy.net will show your maximum, but it shows your maximum under normal usage, e.g your maximum speeds when downloading multimedia, games, etc. A maximum that's not achievable by the majority of my net usage isn't useful to me. I'm sure there's some people out there for whom the absolute maximum capacity of their connection is useful.
Just wait for surfshark, nordvpn is really slow and allows limited number of devices. I regret switching to nordvpn and just grabbed 110% cashback (shopback) of surfshark recently
It's basically the same company with similar servers though? Not sure why it would be slower.
Do surfshark support wireguard manual configs? Nord don't and from their comments unlikely they ever will.

Careful: CashRewards “terms” are misleading. I purchased one of the VPN plan which is within the term that “Cashback is only eligible on the VPN service within plans.” They partially approved the CashBack, referring the term “Upsold products such as NordPass & NordLocker.” not eligible for Cashback, while my purchase doesn’t include any upsold product. I had few emails back and forth with them, and they can’t even explain what was “Upsold” product in my order.
Yeah I am.careful.as well to not ad anything extra. Would be good with IP. Was a sale email the other week. But bet it would cancel the cashback. I leave it as is until money back.

I noticed that the Plus plans have some additional features, maybe that is considered as "Upsold".Plus plan. But VPN plan inclusions are not “Upsold” for sure.
Maybe they changed their marketing and Nordpass & Nordlocker are now included on non basic plans.

I believe they only check the email category.
I've heard people using the email trick and that it still worked. (the one where you add something to your email ID to make it seem different but still directs mail to original box).

Anyone get Nord working with their OpenVPN config files? More specifically on Linux based OS with docker?
I was able to get them to work using the OpenVPN android app but it threw a bunch of errors. Could not for the life of me get it work on my Unraid containers.
Switched back to surfshark and was up and running within minutes. Are their OpenVPN config files outdated?
