[NSW, VIC] Bonus $50/$100 Chemist Warehouse Gift Card with $199/$250+ Spend on Glasses @ Optometrist Warehouse (In-Store Only)

140

2 pairs of single vision glasses no gap from the $199 range, PLUS:

  • Bonus $50 chemist warehouse gift card when you spend $199-$249, or
  • Bonus $100 chemist warehouse gift card when you spend $250 or more.

Other lens types and options available for an extra cost.

Figured this would be worth a post as I thought it was amazing value, particularly for anyone wanting to use their health insurance before the end of the year. Most health funds should be able to claim 2 pairs of single vision glasses (or sunglasses) no gap and then get a free chemist warehouse gift, which is what I did. My partner also got Multi-focals and was quite happy with the price.

All their glasses also include free anti-reflection, scratch and smudge resistant coatings which we would normally have to pay extra for at other places.

Optometrist Warehouse stores are located at Campbelltown (NSW) and Malvern (VIC).

  • Time to spend my Opto limit before the year end, thanks OP

  • Used to be decently priced when it first opened last year… Pricing is pretty much the same as specsavers now

    • +2

We compared the prices to Specsavers and it was still cheaper as the coating is included on both pairs for free (Specsavers charge $70 per pair) and all their multifocals were also cheaper than Specsavers prices

And this gift card promo was an added bonus

      • Might be because I chose different glasses/addons etc. I did my comparison and all 3 (specsavers, CW and OPSM) are pretty much $20-30 within each other (including me subtracting the giftcard promo). I am holding out for black friday. Hopefully will get a better deal

      • I Jussi ordered two glasses from show savers few days ago! Damn it!

  • Isn’t the dude who owns CW super rich already..

    • Yeah he’s using his money to buy cba shares now.

      • I am glad I got your attention and awareness :)

  • If anything like Specsavers, the frames and lenses are cheap and nasty out of ChIna. The bigger issue is if you do not have a good script the script provided is questionable based on personal experience of the Specsavers "optometrist" twice making a botch of the script.

You get what you pay for. That said, I do use Specsavers for "throwaway" prescription sunglasses on the script that I provide to them,

  • what’s next??

     • Electric warehouse
     • Pizza warehouse
     • Doctor warehouse
     • Gynaecologist warehouse ?

this guy gets so rich and big it’s gonna take over and just be one massive store everywhere called

      Warehouse

and the only other place left will be amazon. 😂

  • Optometrist Warehouse charged extra $100 for polarised lenses and $15 delivery. Does polarised lenses/ coating cost that much?
