With the relatively new tagging feature @username, when someone does this tag on my username, apart from receiving the notification here on OzB, can I also choose to receive an email notification (or other external notification like Telegram etc)?

It is based on your event notifications. You can turn on email there instead of or as well as a web notification.Edit: Web Notification only. To get all your OzBargain web notifications to your Telegram, use the OzBNotification Bot. Under event notifications -> I can see the tagging notifications is under “Misc. Notification” -> under this section there is no option to receive email (or Telegram notification) for tagging notifications. Can you confirm this Hamza?
Yes all notifications should use the settings above that, under the 'Events' header.
Notify me when:
A deal reaches +30 votes.
A deal reaches +100 votes.
A deal reaches +30 votes in 30 minutes.
A competition reaches +30 entries.

@ilovefullprice: Yeah sorry, I thought it was just a lay out thing, but it looks like that section doesn't have an email notification option at all, only web (which includes Telegram if connected). I'll discuss and let you know if that changes in the future.
On that note, any issues with the app? haven't been getting notifications on mobile

@c64: LPT: don't tag someone in when you reply to them else they get 2 notifications. It's friggin' annoying when users do that.
Maybe it's my browser, but I start to type the user name/ get the drop down list/ then when I go to click on the correct user name it doesn't " take" and I can't tag at all
