Been waiting since March for this price, ATL according to Camels. One of the most delicious sauces personally, I can eat it plain with just rice, or bread, but it also goes well in any stir fry. A well known and trusted Taiwan brand.

  • Is it like Chilli Crisp Oil

    • From picture on Amazon website, looks like it is.

    • Chilli oil is easy enough to make yourself, but fresh shallots burn quickly so harder to make, so buy them in a bottle instead. :)

    Main ingredient is Canola oil

    • Which is why many people use it as the base oil to start sir frying. So you don't need to add too much extra oil.

  • Dammit! Out of stock after 15 minutes.

  • That was quick

Now I'm intrigued and have to search for this at my local Asian to see what it's like.

  • How do you use it?

It adds fragrance of stir fried shallots, I use it primarily in noodles dishes, rice noodles, vermicelli, any noodles really, with soup or dry noodles. Add in the final minutes.

Some use it as part of hot pot sauce base, add soy sauce, minced garlic and anything else you want, then dip whatever you want.

Some use it when stir frying veggies, i prefer to add in a few min prior to serving. Some use it as the base to start stir fry.

Very useful to just have in the pantry.

No don't just have it with plain rice… at least I don't.

This stuff is good. It's not like the crispy chilli prawn. It's basically tasty fried shallots with salt and oil. Not chilli at all.
