Is it Zeus lap? Zeu slap?

    • Zeu's lap

    • is a better name than the one I bought (and also more than twice the price)
that has "Akntzcs" as the text on the bottom bezel. (that one works ok for what I need, but this post looks like is for something in a different league)

    • How can zeu slap?!

  • +1

Pretty awesome specs especially brightness, refresh rate, VESA and pass through - basically everything makes it a really solid bang for buck.l portable monitor at this price.

  • +3

Will Zeus himself slap me if I buy this

    • +1

he will if you don't :p

      Via the thunderbolt port

The brand we all know and love

    • +1

The brand trusted by the gods.

    • Are you saying for real or being sarcastic?

Asking as I am looking for this brand/monitor’s reputation

      • +1

        Of course sarcasm.

No one knows these brands especially outside if China.

        • +3

They exist for a brief moment of beauty before fading, falling to rot in the ground cover which feeds the next beautiful generation of word salad Chinese branding.

        • +1

Ironically no one would know these brands on China
They're probably rebranded and packaged for foreigners…

I have two. Quality good. No issues

    Will touchscreen work on mac?

    • +2

The device info if you follow the link says no it won't work with Mac.

    • +2

See my latest note… from my testing it supports.

  • Could I wall mount this?

    • as long as you can find one for VESA

maybe 75x75 or 100x100, doesn't seem to specify which

    ZEUSWACK has a better offer

  • Dumbo question do these have an internal battery or can they be powered from the device they are connected to (eg phone, console), or do they need to be powered from the mains at all times?

    • No battery, can power via usb-c alt mode. Can use a portable power bank on a usb-c port if using the mini HDMI.

      • So if connected to a phone, will the phone power the monitor?

  • +1

I must confess that I do not like this monitor, I got 1 dead pixel on arrival.

  • Now says won't ship to me. I think it was ok earlier. Out of stock?

    • Same, says "This product can't be shipped to your address.
      Select another product or address"

      • Same. Annoying. Tried multiple Brisbane addresses but no go. Other products from same store ship here but not this one.

    • In stock again

Thanks bro! Just grabbed one for final price of $206.81

there's plenty of options, it just depends on what you want

      • size
      • resolution
      • touch screen
      • LCD or OLED
    • Zero reviews on that one

    • +2

It's a more premium option. AUD ~$330 delivered for a 16" 3K OLED gaming display with 120Hz refresh rate. And no touchscreen functionality, of course.

UPERFECT is a reliable brand name, so no problems on that front.

I do think the ppi/resolution is a little high for this small screen size, it would've been better if it was 2560x1440 or so.

      • Add another $50 for a touch screen

    • Maybe, but on a 16" screen, do you really want the native resolution to make things even smaller…? lol
also, as others commented, no reputation.

      • -1

I guess you don’t follow technology much. UPERFECT is equivalent to today TCL reputation in the small monitor segments.

  • Are there any pens that work with the screen? Would be handy to use as a drawing screen on my desktop and would be much cheaper than a Wacom with display.

    • no i very much doubt it, but u can buy a pen that has a little copper thingy no pressure sensitivity of course

  • Will this work on a MagicMirror2 / DAKBoard on a raspberry pi ?

  • Imo Cable terminations and housing are fiddly. Does not exude quality. If you nice it around a lot, this won't be for you. Frustration will ensue

Any recommendations for a 13-14 inch touchscreen portable monitor? Looking to use on a plane with Samsung Dex for watching movies. Thanks

  • Would be cool as a kitchen display

  • Is anyone in Brisbane able to get this shipped to their address? I was able to early this morning but didn't place the order and now I want it and can't have it shipped to my home or work addresses for some odd reason. Thanks.

    • +1

Looks like all of Australia :( Out of Stock I think

  • I have a 60Hz, 4K 15.6” touchscreen variant of the same brand and I’m super happy with it. Colours aren’t great but it does the job when I’m working remotely or wanna play some games on the larger screen

  • what's the gtg response time? cause i notice these portable monitors have very high ms

  • +2

If anyone is subscribed to this and still wants it - It's back in stock and shipping to Aus by the looks. I just grabbed one for $204ish.

Received mine today… Surprisingly the touch screen supports macos (tested on the latest Sequoia 15.2) out-of-box

  • Interesting

Received. Nice monitor but does anyone have any recommendations for a matte screen protector for this? Its quite reflective. Thanks.

  • Can anyone recommend a better portable stand for this ?

    • Wondering if you've had any luck? The cover stand it comes with is nice enough but edges will wear quickly and it's not as sturdy anyway so I'm in the boat for a replacement cover/stand as well. Thanks.
