anker always makes me think of anko (kmart)
Makes me think of ordering beer in Cambodia.
Angkor = ask for Anka
Anchor: ask for An-chore
it's always this price.
how many more of these do i need LOL
Enough to charge a tesla
at 33w per charger, minimum charger the Tesla will accept is 1.2kw/1200w. So only need 36.36 of these chargers to charge a Tesla.
$727 for 36 of these batboys (not including the cable).
Probably better off getting the official Tesla charger which can do 3.6kw for $550. Bargain almost. comes with cable.
Correct number to own is n+1 where n is the number you already own.
These get uncomfortably warm. Heats up like there’s no tomorrow lol.
I wish someone does a teardown to see the inside components used.
This a cheap product from Anker built to price. The ikea charger would be better than this.
A bit different. More Watts but no USB-A
I went for the Philips 30W dual port instead, as USB A could draw up to 18W, which I needed for a project. The Anker is 12W, probably fine for most. The standard price is $24.
I've bought probably half a dozen of these things by this stage.
For me they're pretty great for the price. Small size, decent wattage, cheap price (Pretty regularly on sale) and a brand I've actually heard of.
