Restaurant Choice EFTPOS Gift Cards Expiring Soon

I have $400 (4x100) in Restaurant Choice eftpos gift cards to use and have found them quite difficult to use.

Firstly they are eftpos-only cards and a lot of cafes and restaurants have upgraded their terminals to Square that only accepts credit and debit cards. Also many places don’t split bills.

I don’t have much time as they expire on 31/10/24.

Is there a recommended way I can use these in Sydney? Perhaps to buy store credit or other gift cards… I did buy some coffee cards from my local cafe with one but I’d only do that again as a last resort as there’s only so much coffee you can drink.

I tried reaching out to Restaurant Choice via their website about 2 weeks ago and they never responded to me about converting them to Apple Pay cards.

      I think it’s best to buy one anyone as it extends your expiry, at the very least you can try to resell them for a discount and lose less. You have one day left.
