Found this deal on Target's website and just grabbed one from my local store.
This may not be the cheapest compared to online retailers but is the cheapest to those who have shopfronts in Australia.
Definitely genuine stock so a peace of mind for me and no need to wait.

If you don't mind the wait, various online retailers have it for way cheaper. The pricing in AU for ps3 controllers seem to be insane.

Do a search on ebay, I think the lowest I saw was ~$37. With paypal protection, you pretty much have nothing to worry about. If it is a fake controller, you wouldn't even need to return it just destroy it because it would come under as a counterfeit item.
Surely not a bargain. Have gotten controller + infamous 2 pack for $50 from ausgamez.com a while back and I'm sure there's better deal to come.

For those that can wait a week or 2,these are regularly $45 or less from ozgameshop zavvi etc.
Got mine for $32 delivered earlier in the year.
