Lebara Prepaid Mobile: 360-Day 10GB/30-Day + 40GB Activation Bonus: $119 + 2000 Everyday Rewards Points @ Woolworths (in-Store)

300

Just after 1 week this deal is back.

Lebara uses Vodafone (some might say Vodafail but has worked well for my family in Sydney). You might be able to use your 10% off (if you qualify for 10% off once a month) bringing it down to $107.1 and if you consider you also getting $10 worth of points it’ll cost you about $97. Pay using gift cards to discount it further.

2000 rewards points

Get 160GB data (10GB per 30 days + 40GB activation bonus). New customers only. Activate by 05/11/24. T&C apply.

    does unused data roll over?

  • +1

Good deal but activate within 1 week.

    • If you were to activate after that you would get the 120gb. I’m not sure how much bonus data, but they can be extended (Vodafone has been doing it for a while).

    • Where did you see that? A comment from the previous deal says 60 days.

      • I chatted to lebara last time

        • I'm confused. You previously posted that you contacted Lebara and they said it was 60 days but now it's a week?

          • +1

@loveyoulooongtime: The week its for the extra data. If you activate after 4th November the extra 40gb isn’t guaranteed.

Thanks. My catch connect yearly plan is actually expiring on 5/11/24. Good timing. If I use my special.com gift card I think it might bring it down to $90 roughly? I would not need that much data. I barely use 3gb a month. But this seems to be the cheapest deal so far.

Yes and I think the older catch deal was too. If you wanted to wait for Black Friday maybe grab a cheap one month and then wait for deals.

      • Good point. Thanks. I will consider that option

  • Does anyone know what happens if data runs out each month?

  • Does gift card work for the prepaid SIM pack?

    • Yes confirmed in previous threads. But not for everyday mobile

  • I am trying to decide what is the best value in terms of download speeds and reliability, is Lebara or Kogan mobile better?? Has anyone been on both recently is Kogan better since its a bigger company??

    • +1

They are the same. Mvno Vodafone. I have one kid on Kogan and had husband on Lebara not long ago. We live in south Sydney and go to cbd. No problems with either of them. I think Lebara also gives a bit of international minutes if you ever needed them.

    • Lebara is wholly owned by Voda.

  • Can i activate it on eSIM?

    • most probably activate the physical SIM first, then replace it with eSIM.

  • is it easy to port from Vodafone Postpaid to Lebara? is it still a problem to port providers within the same Network ( Vodafone ) ? thanks guys.

I did it before but Voda prepaid to Voda affiliate. No issues. But that's awhile ago

No problems at all. Husband moved from Lebara to vodafone and it was absolutely fine.
