Chanced upon this offer. Looks to apply to Coles, Spudshed and Woolworths as far as I can tell. Can be used repeatedly until your first order arrives. Great deal if you've got UberOne. May be targeted. Service fee applies.

Im getting $20 off $40 spend

  • I got that offer without uber one subscription and to save the delivery fee I started my uber one 3 months free trial. I hope I get another 30 off minimum 40.

        Sick of not being targeted

  • Good deal, covers the 10% extra Coles charge, the 10% Uber Eats charges, service fees, and the lack of specials.

Just be mindful that if something is not in stock, the promo code can be removed by UberEats.
I was targeted this weekend for $20 off order with min $40. Supposedly 1 item wasn't in stock (which I doubt that both that and replacement item wasn't in stock, but likely the uber shopper was not willing to go back and check). So I was refunded the qty 2x ~$2, which brought the total under min. spend.
ubereats decided to remove the promo code (likely because min spend wasn't met, I can't know since they did not yet reply to my queries from yesterday), this morning ubereats charged my credit card an additional $15 rather than refunding +- $4.
Note that item actually being in stock doesn't matter, if the ubereats person doesn't want to pick it up, he will say out of stock and too bad for you.

Place the order in the store.
Get the items yourself, and put them into a basket. You can grab a replacement item and put it into the basket for out-of-stock items.
Wait for the driver/UberEats shopper(not sure what to call the person) to come to the aisle and give the basket to him/her.
Watch the person until he/she pays and leaves the store.

Defeats a bit the purpose of the promotion and convenience, but I get your point.

In my view: doesn't matter if it's ubereats or any other retailer: I place an order for specific price, if the retailer is not happy to honour the promotion, they should cancel the order and let you place another one that qualifies; or give an option to accept/decline the total price change.

Alternatively, you can be an Uber Eats driver just for your own order.
You prepare a basket of the items you want and place the order.
Then, you deliver it to your door.
This way, you save money from the promotions and get paid for delivering your groceries to yourself.

    • Had a similar experience with this type of code and a purchase from Spudshed in WA.
After a lot of messages with Uber eats support, I got a credit for the discount. Was not a simple process

When was this? I'm actually using this to my advantage as I know they don't have a certain item in stock so i purposely added to it to my basket just to make $40. It was refunded and the rest of the items have been delivered essentially free that I have close to the $30 mark. Only had to pay a small service fee.

    • I had the same experience. Contact support and insist on not being your fault. They will eventually honour it.

    • This actually happens a lot to me, just ask the support person. They usually credit you back the promotion value in Uber credits.

Yep. It happened to me few times last year. I also wrote about it in the deal posted. I stopped using these UE grocery promos after that. At first i wasn’t even aware it happened and i was charged the full amount a few times. Until I finally realized cuz UE charged the final amount only after the delivery was made. I just went by the initial amount displayed on the app. And got “overcharged“ a few times without realizing before I stopped using them completely.

i used them again after about a year thankfully it went ok that time. Dun know if they fixed the glitch this time, hoping they did. cuz last year customer service wasn’t helpful.

  • mines $15 off $30
