Beginning December 7th, 2023, and running through December 31st, 2024, any MBOX Studio activated during this time will receive a Pro Tools Studio Perpetual license, a $599 value, instead of a Subscription.
 
No more concerns about being tied to a Subscription with MBOX Studio.

New customers will see the Pro Tools Studio Perpetual product in the MyAvid account alongside MBOX Studio.
 
Existing customers who activate during the promotional period and already have active Subscriptions or Perpetual contracts will see the new Pro Tools Studio Perpetual activation as an additional product in the MyAvid Products Not Yet Downloaded section.

We will offer a 30 day grace period (Nov 7th - Dec 7th) for customers who recently activated but missed the promo period. The perpetual license will be delivered automatically to the MyAvid Products Not Yet Downloaded section to activate when ready. An email will also be automatically sent.

        There are a lot better options, that's all. ProTools has some legacy popularity but other than that, it would be way down on my list of choices these days.
