Gaming Monitor for a RTX 4060ti

Hi brains trust.
Any strong opinions out there on the best choices for a gaming monitor for the 4060ti.

I’ve been tossing on a deep dive and feel overwhelmed now but am fairly certain I’m after a 27 inch 160-180hz 1440p monitor. Happy to spend up to 500 but I do love a bargain.

Any brands/models to avoid or seek actively? I’ve added a bunch to my shortlist and feel lost.

Thanks

Omen 27q when it goes on sale again is definitely a good option

Will have to turn details down for 1440p on a 4060 Ti though :/

I was like you when learning and researching gaming monitor without adding to the country inflation rate. I settled on the ViewSonic OMNI VX2728-2K 27". A good budget monitor on special at Scorptec atm $199…I paid $279.00 1 year ago and mwave currently have at $339. Has ips panel which the brains trust here said was the best for gaming as va panel suffers pixel tearing and ticks your other stated boxes.

    Here is a review

I have read about flimsy stand but I have no trouble with mine….I would buy again for 2k gaming

    Disclosure…I am no expert.

from these monitors I'd be looking at:
    https://au.pcpartpicker.com/products/monitor/#r=256001440&D=…
    LG UltraGear 27GR75Q-B for 350$
    or
Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQML1A for 500$ (260hz, which i'd be running at 250 if i had one)
there's a rtings review on the LG, theres some chinese (but also extremely detailed) review on this asus. maybe the asus is cheap because quality control on it is not great but i'd be buying it for the performance.

i'd avoid any VA panels and the cheapest i'd buy from the list is viewsonic 2728J($300), since it has a review from pcmonitors.info.
other options are xg27acs(434$), known decent option, MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2 (469$) which has no review unlike its predecessor, but is interesting only due to the QD backlight and good strobing implementation.
But I feel like >400$ on ~165hz LCD monitor is not a bargain, that's why I recommended a known good LG monitor at 350$ or a faster monitor at $500.

edit: also these seems to not be on sales right now, often they go on sale and value proposition changes dramatically.
