You can get the Affinity V2 Universal Licence for only $40.99 (Upgrade from any V1 app (Photo, Designer, Publisher).
When you open any of these existing Apps you should find the upgrade spash screen to this deal.

Update:

  • Seems to be working without the need of a V1 licence.

  • You also could create an Egyptian account (just enter an address in Egypt before you pay and the currency will change) and they charge you only EGP250 (which is around AU$7.74) - no need for an VPN.

      When I click through it makes no mention of "upgrade" just says Universal License. Even has option to sign up a new user or asks if you're an existing one.

      Nevermind, I see user below got it without v1.

      Reddit thread asking this question says V2 is relatively new (late 2023) so v3 unlikely. But the company has been bought out by Canva, so who knows what they have planned for the future.

      Also this deal has region pricing. Equivalent to about USD$12 in Indian rupees. Anyone taking a trip on VPNAirlines?

        I upgraded to v2 in Nov 2022 ( pretty sure at time of release - for a 25% discount from holding v1 licenses at the time )

      Now that Canva own it you absolutely can't rule out them moving to a subscription model (although Canva just had to do a massive backtrack on their pricing model changes, so that might put them off for a while?)

    Just checked the sticker price and it's listed as $224.99. By my (rusty) math that makes this deal about 18% or 82% off.

    Definitely a bargain if you want the software. Bought just in case I feel the urge to create. Can also confirm is a new purchase not an upgrade.

      Well, it hasn't finished there. Apparently, Affinity emailed me this deal on Saturday. I just placed the order now and upgraded to v2. If you owns v1, definitely should expect this or contact Serif for this deal :)

        Photo is nothing like Lightroom at all, aimed at completely different (i.e. PS) jobs.

    I claimed the upgrade a few days ago with the same price, although I am already paying adobe $16 ish per month for their LR/PS combo.
    Honestly adobe is still much better even you don't use the new generrative AI functions. Just for the noise reduction from ACR, I found no alternative with the price at the subscription I pay.
    The possible alternative would be affinity+dxo pure raw, dxo offers NR which is comparable to ACR, and possibly even better lens profile correction. But with its annual software update, if I want to stay with the latest it is not cheaper than adobe subscription, even if I consider affinity cost as zero.
    Still, for supporting a good competition who offered a genuine deal, I paid for this upgrade.

        Oh I didn't put too much notice on that. I do not use ai functions with my photos but I do play with it occasionally to see what it is capable of.
