Cool, been thinking about one of these for a while, hard to say no since I plan on sticking with my 13 Pro for a while yet.

Go for gamesir X2s, much better experience for $71.99 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/126736147775
Provides Hall effect etc.
That model doesn't support iPhones with a lightning port though, so no good for the OP.
I would not recommend this product to anyone tbh. I bought it full price on release because I thought this would be the solution for remote gaming. The problems I had were the buttons are way too loud, so gaming at night while my wife goes to bed… did not work, I had to use the touch screen remote play buttons instead of the physical buttons just because how loud they are. Another thing is the Xbox controller layout, if you prefer the playstation controller, you might as well just get a Playstation Portal. The extra cost is fully justified with a way better controller.
You're absolutely right—not only does the GameSir X2 make noise, but even devices like the PlayStation Portal have the same issue. The button clicks or haptic feedback can be noticeable, and when someone is sleeping beside you, it can be hard to game without disturbing them. Unfortunately, most gaming controllers aren't designed to be silent, which makes quiet gaming a real challenge.
