    Thanks OP

      • it does checkout.

in this case full price is free (online quiz actually), and they want it. 🤗

why did you delete your comment? it was funny a lot of users say that wasn’t a big deal, but anyway. 😅

      • It’s some light hearted Aussie sarcasm for you bro. Iykyk.

shirts are cheap anyways, i'm not waiting in that crowd. i would wait if was an expensive shirt.

      yeah what about the sizing?

Uniqlo runs smaller on all sizes, so how many of those 1000 are M and L and XL??

free shirt doesn’t matter if it doesn’t fit. 😂

      • definitely have to size up. i wear aussie large, but uniqlo XL

        • +1

That is Hugh huge for XL ;-)

        • -2

if Uniqlo are smart they should limit the S shirts to a lower number for Aussie market and increase M L XL.

They are giving out vouchers, you can choose what you like inside the store.

        • ok makes sense. I thought they were for special UT promo shirts. like you know it is one of the free ones because it was a UT one.

          • @harshbdmmaster718: T&C 9a. 1000 x UNIQLO UT Product Sample Vouchers available during the Promotional Period. Each Voucher can be redeemed in-store at UNIQLO Mid City for a single Eligible UNIQLO UT Product from the Men’s, Women’s or Kid’s UT range (including markdown or special offer UTs but excluding the Peace For All UT collection) up to a maximum value of $24.90.

            • @AsukaST: don’t worry I’m an idiot that first thought it was a T-shirt with UT printed on it. 😂

      • They usually size up a size or two. This isn’t the first time they’ve done it so they would also use previous info to tweak the numbers and sizes

    • How can it be expensive if it would be free?

    • agreed. time is money!

I'd imagine people would be lining up for this, and the fact that there's a limited quantity make it not worth to even try.

    so kind of related.

but Muji have released iPhone cases and phone lanyards in Japan. wrist lanyard and shoulder lanyard. apparently staggered release so shoulder lanyard is delayed.

    case is not MagSafe.

    • Ok

      • -2

I thought Muji and Uniqlo were like the biggest global Japanese fashion stores?? Muji sells clothes on top of homewares don't they?
        well I guess unrelated then.

Maybe I'm a snob, but lining up for hours for a free Uniqlo shirt is about as appealing as the free meatball deal or whatever it was for going to IKEA in your pajamas.

agreed, although it's not quite as bad as humiliating yourself for a free krispy kreme donut

    Queue is very long!!!
All the way till the end of the mall pass H&M

  • +1

Just checked the queue, estimated time is 60 min wait, in the sun too.

    • No thanks to that. There should be a flag in OzB, too difficult to obtain, or long wait to get

  • +2

In the queue now, still letting people in at 5:02
